AOIFE SAT AT her school desk, her head rested on her arm as she stared blankly at the board filled with different maths equations and formulas infront of her. Due to the fact it was Aoife's last year of school, many of the things she was doing in class now was just revision and extra work that mightn't have been convered due to covid ending the last term of 5th year.
The one issue with being a twitch streamer whilst attending an All Girls Irish secondary school was the problem that once one person found it, everyone found it. Even the first years with their bags half way over their heads with nearly every book from their locker in their bags. Fortunately for Aoife, no one had found her twitch yet, which she couldn't have been more grateful for. She couldn't bare the thought of having to walk into school everyday knowing people knew she made a fool out of herself in front of a bunch of strangers on the internet.
Aoife adjusted her mask that sat covering the lower part of her face, pulling it slightly higher over her nose. She looked around, grimacing at the girls around her, most of whom weren't wearing their masks anywhere close to properly. As much as she'd love to turn around and ask them to wear it properly, she wasn't asking for a death wish, especially this early on in the school year.
Aoife scribbled down random ideas for streams, hiding the top corner of her page with her pencil case. She looked around once again, before looking at the clock that hung off the wall next to the white board. Five more minutes. Five more minutes before she could run out the gates of the school until tomorrow morning.
She lightly tapped her pen on her copy, slipping some of her belonging into her bag as she attempted to pack away quietly. She scribbled down the last of the notes on the board before her teacher assigned the homework for the night. She slipped the rest of her stuff into her bag; standing up, she slung her bag onto her back, grabbing her jacket she walked hastily towards the door.
The walk home wasn't very exciting, it mainly consisted of Aoife speedwalking in hopes of being home as soon as possible, dipping in and out of different alley ways to avoid the main footpath of the town. She passed a couple of old guys, obviously drunk as they could barely stand straight. She then passed a little old lady, who was sat with her terrifying small dog, one of those beady-eyes dogs that would start barking and biting you for no reason. Aoife managed to get home in a 'record time' of 14 minutes and 24 seconds, one of the shortest times it's taken her to get home.
She unpacked her bag, putting her books on her desk before throwing herself onto her bed, a sigh escaping her lips as she laid there, slowly dosing off to sleep.
