AOIFE STARED BLANKLY at the maths textbook that laid infront of her on her desk. Her maths teacher had the sudden idea to revise Trigonometry, a part of maths that Aoife hated. She never understood how people found the difference between the normal way of calculating the triangles and Pythagorus Theorem. To her, she found no need to learn how to calculate the length of a triangles side, when would you even need to use that in a real life situation?

She looked to her left as her phone began to ring, Zach's name popping up on the phone. She accepted it, turning it on speaker as she picked her pen up again. "You alright?" Aoife asked, as Zach let out a small hum. "Yeah, just wanted to call and see how you were, whatcha you up to?" he queried, his California accent briefly making its way into the sentence. "Math homework, Trigonometry to be exact. It's been 15 minutes since my last crying session over this stupid fucking book, an accomplishment in my eyes." she grinned, as Zach laughed.

"Trigonometry isn't that bad, kinda fun once you get the hang of it." he replied. "Fun? Fucking fun? Y'alright there? How is it fun to you?! You're odd, you are lad." Aoife cried out, which made Zach fall into a laughing fit. Aoife held her heart as though it'd been ripped right from her. "Alright, Alright. Not fun, but easy. It's honestly not that bad."

"That's what my nan said about her cooked turkey last Christmas, we all got food poisoning after it. So am not buying that." She replied, as the memories of each of her relatives rushing out of the room flooded back to her.

"Wait, seriously? How did that even happen?" he laughed, as Aoife shrugged. "No idea, it just happened, not the best Christmas to date I'll say." as she let out a small chuckle.

"I can guess, also, I was hoping to do a stream later on today, bedwars maybe, you down to join? I feel like we haven't streamed together in a while." Zach asked, as Aoife hummed in response. "Yeah, of course! What time you thinking?" She replied, as Zach sat in silence for a second, a small hum could be heard faintly over the call. "Lets say.. 4pm? so like, 9 for you?" he asked, as Aoife sat back to think, that was 2 hours away. Surely she'd have her homework done by then. "Yeah sure! Sounds good to me." she grinned, as Zach smiled on the other side of the phone. "Perfect, well.. I suppose I'll let you finish your very fun trigonometry homework." he laughed, as Aoife groaned. "Shut up you bitch before I have you do it for me."

The second Aoife finished her sentence, Zach let out a very loud 'No Thanks!' before hanging up the phone, making Aoife burst out laughing. Aoife and Zach were inseparable, but in the few days after he joined the Dream Smp, Aoife felt a small bit of a drift come along; obviously with both of them being in school and Zach being on the Smp and spending a lot of time on there trying to settle in, it just felt a bit weird to Aoife.

Aoife was happy for him though. I mean, why wouldn't she be? She knew how much Zach enjoyed streaming and how he planned to pursue it after he finished school. Whilst Aoife, I mean, she didn't really know what she would do. Of course, she loved streaming, but she couldn't help but think how long she would go before streaming would fall through. Would it even last her until January? She didn't know. No one does. All she could do was hope.
