Job Interview

Chaeng-

I am riding my bike on the way to the Kim's Inc. to have an interview cause I'll be working there.

We don't have a car to ride in and my father left us. Today my mother is really ill and we need money to help her survive, although this is my last chance. We're running out of money to pay rent

My older brother Jimin is also working at this café which doesn't help much.

I paddled fastly as I'm staring to be late for the interview. Luckily, I got there just in time.. or maybe not?

"Your one minute late Ms. Park" a well dressed lady said who greeted me

"I'm sorry. I just paddles through here" I said and bowed hoping that she can understand

"It's okay. Let's go to Ms. Manoban's   office so she can interview you properly." She said and gave me a warm smile

"I thought you were going to interview me" I giggled and she giggled back and shaked her head

"Nah.. I'm just one of her assistants here she's the Vice President" she said

"Don't be nervous they don't bite" she joked. And I just nervously laughed and followed her, This place is calling expensive with the white shiny marbled floor and the walls that are very clean and really modern looking.

Of course they are. This is one of the most powerful Inc. ever

"Here we are" she smiled after opening the door as I can see a girl smiling at me sitting at her desk I went in

"Hi. You must be Ms. Park? I'm Ms. Manoban, shall we start?" She said politely as I bowed and nodded. She looks very scary especially with her poker face. And she also looks very attractive

What the heck did I just say? Gosh Chaeng your here for work.

Hours have passed. I was really sweating and felt nervousness into my spine, the questions were really tough but I still able to manged them correctly. As my eyes wondered around I saw how smart these people are, probably they went into the most expensive schools I mean who wouldn't?

"Thanks for today Ms. Park, come back tomorrow at 8 and you'll see the results if the President agrees with them. Don't worry I know she will" she smiled as she stood up and organized the three paged paper

"Seulgi? You know what to do next" she said into the little speaking and by just a flash that girl went up to pick me up

"What's next?" I smiled at her as I carefully wipe my sweat

"I'm just going to tour you around. Just to make sure you won't get lost" She said and a chuckled follow

"But I don't even got the job yet"

"I know, But I already know you're going to pass it. C'mon I'll show you around" She said and I trailed behind her

She showed me around but we never entered any rooms cause I don't really work here yet.

After the tour I went to this little food court near the beach. I ordered myself a hotdog and just a pair of orange juice then went to the sea side to admire the beautiful pastel sky. It's really pretty

I was minding my own business when there's this girl wearing all black looking so tired sat beside me about 1 meter away. I didn't really bother since this place is starting to fill up

Few moments later she accidentally pushed my orange juice and made a little bit soaked

"God damn it. I'm sorry" she said, she has husky voice but I liked it. She was about to wipe it out of my coat when I stopped her

"It's okay. It was just an accident" I said and give her a smile

She was wearing a black hoodie and a white mask that's why I couldn't really see her face

"You sure?" I nodded

"Yeah"

"Okay, I'll be going now. Sorry again" she said and left. I really don't care what just happened a moment ago, it was just an accident what's the problem? It's not a big deal.

I went home safely before the day light dissapered. As soon as I entered the door I saw my mom lying into the couch having her rest, I looked at her as she slowly opened her eyes

"How are you?" I kneeled down and caressed her head and tucked some of her hair behind her ears

"No need to worry dear, how about you? How's the interview?" She asked me

"I don't know yet mom, I will find out tomorrow" I give my mom a smile and kisses her forehead before going into the kitchen to check on Jimin who was cooking dinner

"What's for dinner?" I asked him

"Kimchi- again" he forced himself to smile. Over these past few weeks we've been eating Kimchi as we're all saving money to pay for the rent.

"It's okay, we'll be able to eat your favorite food again." I said as I pat his head and give him a smile. I'm taller than him so it felt like I'm the older one, were really close to each other

As I went downstairs after changing into my clothes Jimin was done cooking. I prepared mom's food and went to her to help her feed herself, my tears started to fall but I stoped them and forced to make a smile
