At the hotel, Elliot, Will, Claris, Helen, and the other girls are able to make it safely. However, they already see NiGHTS isn't with them, so they head off to search for her. Time has gone by and it's already late into the night, but NiGHTS is nowhere to be found. June and Annie are in front of the hotel when they see the others running to them from different directions of the street.
June asks in concern, "Did you find her?"
"No. We can't find her anywhere," Helen says.
"We looked all over," Elliot says.
"But we can't find her anywhere," Will says.
Claris grows very concerned, "I'm worried. I sure hope she's okay."
May then remember, "Now that I think of it. those creatures that chased us... the Nightmarens... I don't know why, but it appears that they're leaving. Like they're not interested in us anymore."
"Why would they?" June says.
Helen then begins to show a frightened look on her face, "Unless... they already have what they're looking for! Reala and the Nightmarens must have NiGHTS!"
The group soon comes to realize it as well.
"Come on, we need to go after then. There might still be time to save her," Elliot says.
"But that means we might have to go to the Nightmare world to find her," Will says.
"But we can't go there," Helen says, looking scared.
"I know it might sound scary, but we need to get to NiGHTS before they try to do something terrible to her. They could try to remove her soul before we might be able to reach her," Claris says, worried.
Somewhere in the Nightmare Real, NiGHTS who is still human is laying on the ground, unconscious. Even though NiGHTS is still human, there are some that have changed back to her original self. Her hands gain the gloves, she has the red gem on her chest, and her shoes change to the part of the outfit she wears in her original form. NiGHTS groans and begins to open her eyes to reveal the blue color of the cat's eye.
NiGHTS begins to sit up and looks around her surroundings to find herself in a spooky place. The place has a black and red checkerboard ground with dark clouds and red mist in the dark sky. There are floating lands and more that will give her an uncomfortable vibe. She then notices on top of some pillar of black and red tile patterns is a black and red color throne.
NiGHTS soon remembers what this place is, "This... this is Reala's realm."
"So you remember this place, do you NiGHTS?" A familiar voice says.
NiGHTS quickly turns around to see Reala floating in the air as he is gently flying down to her. Frightened, NiGHTS begins to run away from Reala, hoping to escape. When she tries to jump, NiGHTS is unable to fly, or use her abilities.
NiGHTs says, worried, "I... I can't fly."
"It wouldn't be a surprise, you are a Visitor after all," Reala says, landing in front of NiGHTS.
NiGHTS tries to run, but Reala grabs her by her right wrist. Then pulls her toward him and wraps his arm around NiGHTS waist.
"Let me go, Reala. Let me go!" NiGHTS screams, struggles to get free.
"Sorry NiGHTS, but play time is officially over," Reala says, pressuring his hand to have a stronger grip on NiGHTS' wrist.
"Stop! You're hurting me!" NiGHTS angrily says.
"Then I suggest you stop struggling like a child," Reala says.
NiGHTS feels there is no way for her to escape Reala's grasp, she stops struggling and yet, has her head turned away from him in disgust.
