Chapter 5: NiGHTS Troubling and Musical Return

It's the night before the Dreams Games and when the Bellbridge Academy students are going to arrive, everyone is fast asleep for the night. In a dark area, there seems to be nothing there. Suddenly, there is a bright red glow.

Suddenly, NiGHTS' voice calls out. "Claris? Elliot? Helen? Will? Where are you? What is this place? Please... anyone... somebody help me..."

Meanwhile. Claris, Elliot, Will, and Helen find themselves in the Dream Gates again so they can discuss about NiGHTS' whereabouts.

"So how are you both doing?" Elliot asks.

"We're doing okay, and we're ready to head to Twin Seed with our school," Will says.

"Yes. I can't wait to see what Twin Seed is like," Helen says.

"You'll love it and your school will be coming for the Twin Seed Festival. It's when we celebrate our town and when it's first named," Elliot says.

"Sounds like fun," Will says.

"That's true, and we have the Dream Games from both of our schools too. I think we're also in for one fun time," Claris says.

"But we still need to figure out what happened to NiGHTS. She might be in the human world, and yet, we haven't seen her," Helen says, worried.

"I know. I'm worried too," Claris says.

Elliot says, "Let's go to Nightopia and see if Owl found anything about the Dark Sea."

The group then walks to the door and opens it. Then they walk inside and soon end up in another location. The group finds themselves at what looks like a beach with the ocean. Soon, they see Nightopians flying around and playing with the bubbles.

"Looks like we're at the beach this time. Let's see if we can find Owl," Claris says.

"Yes. He must be here somewhere," Helen says.

The group of teens begin to walk around the beach to find Owl to see if he has a clue on how to find Nights. Unknown to the group of friends, Jackle has seen them while he is flying around.

The Nightmaren snickers and says, "Well well, looks like we're going to have a lot of fun with four visitors. It's been a while since we have humans coming here."

"Jackle," A familiar voice firmly says.

Jackle quickly turns his head to see Reala who is floating in the air with his arms crossed.

"Hey Realal, you're just in time for some fun," Jackle says.

"Hmph. We do not have anytime for your annoying games. We need to come up with a plan for tomorrow," Reala says.

"Don't worry, this is something you're going to like. Look who came back to Nighttopia," Jackle says, pointing his finger to a certain direction.

Reala looks to see what Jackle is pointing to. He sees the four Visitors he has seen and not just any, they're the ones who have accompanied NiGHTS in the past, and the two from earlier in the Human World.

"Well, it seems that the Visitors have returned," Reala says.

"So what do you say? I think we should follow them," Jackle says.

"You are right about it, for once. I wouldn't be surprised that they might be aware that they found out what happened to NiGHTS. They're the only ones with strong connections to NiGHTS. Let's follow them and see where they're going," Reala says.

Jackle snickers, "I knew you can't resist this."

Both of the Nightmarens fly off to follow the Visitors to see what they're up to.
