At a wedding

Chapter 4

Namjoon is sitting with Jeongguk, who has not stopped smiling since his chat with Byeol. Frankly, Namjoon wants to kiss Seoyun too. 'How do I make it up to her? She is so mad at me. She's not wrong in being angry. I was a complete ass to her.'

Eunha and Hoseok join the table hand in hand and smiling.

"I see whatever game you were playing is over." He states.

"Somi and Minho, practically, threatened us to end it." Hoseok chuckles.

"We're going to stop being friends with them after today, Babe! They don't let us have our fun!" Eunha orders.

Hoseok laughs. "Do you really want to stop being friends with your best friend?"

She thinks about it. "Arasso, the decision is pending."

"How do you both do it?" He asks on an impulse.

He earns curious looks from them but he doesn't let it faze him.

"I'm curious too." Jeongguk joins.

Eunha and Hoseok exchange confused looks. "What do you mean?"

"How do you both make it work? You make it look so easy." Namjoon asks.

"Joonie, it has never been easy." She takes Hoseok's hand in hers and squeezes it, gently.

"You all know that we've had our share of problems too. We were on the brink of ending our relationship." Hoseok admits.

"How did you work through it, Noona? Hyung?" Jeongguk asks.

They look at each other, trying to figure out the answer together.

"I think, at the end of the day we knew that we are in love with each other." Eunha starts.

"It comes down to communication. There are times when we are in Seoul and we still can't meet up because of work." Hoseok points out.

"We have to constantly keep reassuring each other that we love each other and we are in this for the long haul." Eunha explains. "Sometimes, hard conversations have to be had so we can move past it and concentrate on the good things."

"We all are always super excited about making music, right?" Hoseok asks Namjoon and Jeongguk.

Namjoon and Jeongguk nod at him.

"Knowing that Eunha is by my side, makes the process is even more exciting. Apart from you guys, my family, our staff and so many other people at Big Hit, I have this one person I can completely rely on." Hoseok beams.

She is touched by his words. "Aw Hobi! I didn't know this." She pecks him on his cheeks.

He laughs. "Well baby, you did say you would like some mystery in our relationship, so, I left it out."

She looks at Namjoon and Jeongguk in disbelief. "My boyfriend, everyone. The killer of touching moments." She announces to her audience.

They laugh at her words.

Hoseok embraces her. "Don't be mad, Baby! I would have told you when the time was right."

"Fine, I'll let it pass this time." She tells him.

Both Jeongguk and Namjoon get up from the table. The couple looks at them in confusion.

"There's something I need to do." Namjoon tells them

"Same. I'll see you guys around." Jeongguk's eyes start scanning the place for Byeol.

They find the women they intend to speak with, speaking with each other. Byeol and Seoyun look at them in confusion.

"I want to talk to you." Namjoon says before anyone else speaks.

Seoyun huffs in frustration. "And I told you that I don't want to talk to you."

Byeol and Jeongguk look very confused by their interaction.

"I'm not going to take no for an answer." Namjoon is, suddenly, adamant.

"Too bad, you're going to have to. I'm working right now." She gives him a fake smile.

"It won't take long."

"Listen Namjoon, I'm not interested. Stop this."

"First of all, it's Namjoon Oppa for you. I let it slip a couple of times but I will not anymore." He tells her, sternly.

"You're not getting any respect from me." She snaps at him.

He, immediately realises that being stern with her won't work. "You better speak to me or else I'll create a scene at the party."

She looks at him in shock. "You wouldn't!"

He smirks. "Who knows? But are you willing to risk it, Soey?"

She thinks about it. 'No, I don't want anything to ruin this wedding.' "Fine!"

He pats her head. "Good choice!"

She pushes his hand off. "Byeol, take over for me."
