At a wedding

Chapter 7

Jeongguk pulls Byeol aside. "We are leaving now. But if you want, I can wait for you." He tells her.

She smiles, shyly. "Ani!!!! People are starting to leave now. We have some work to finish. After I'm done, I'll come to Epiphany."

"You sure? I don't mind waiting." He asks her again.

She pecks him on his cheek. "Don't spoil me, Jeon Jeongguk."

"It's my job to spoil you!" He retorts.

"Don't worry, I'll be there. I can take care of myself, you know." She tells him.

"I know you can. Call me when you leave okay?"

"I didn't know you were going to be such a protective boyfriend. But I like it!" She jokes.

He chuckles. "I'll see you soon." He kisses her.

"You really shouldn't have done that. Now I want to leave with you." She pouts at him.

"I like the idea!" He smirks at her.

She smacks his arm. "I can't leave Unnie to finish all the work by herself."

"Arasso. But finish your work soon and come to me." He gives her puppy dog eyes.

"Kyeopta!" She exclaims. "I will there soon."

He kisses her again and rejoins his friends.

"I still can't over the fact that Jeongguk, who couldn't even speak properly in front of Byeol, is kissing her so boldly, now." Hoseok says in awe.

"Hyung..." Jeongguk is flustered.

"All credit to me because I got everyone to leave them alone." Areum states.

"This one time, Areum's meddling has actually worked in our favour!" Eunha teases her.

"Unnie..." She shakes her head in dismay.

"Let's get out of this suffocating place." Taehyung says.

They agree and leave.

The quiet chatter in Epiphany is broken by the entry of the rest of the gang. They rush to Seokjin and Kara to find out how they are doing. Also, they share hugs like they've not met each other in ages.

"Haneul, I didn't know you were coming." Kara says, happily.

She smiles, shyly. "Taehyung said he wants to try again."

Taehyung wraps his arms around her from behind. She stiffs for a moment but then relaxes when she realizes it's Taehyung. 'That asshole is going to pay for what he did to you!' Taehyung, mentally, promises. "We are gonna do whatever it takes to heal together. We've decided to go to therapy." He smiles at Haneul and Kara.

"That's a good step. I'm glad you both found your way back to each other." Kara agrees with their decisions.

The others are also delighted by Taehyung and Haneul's decision to go to therapy.

"Didn't you and Sunhee noona leave together? Where is she?" Jimin asks Yoongi, skeptically.

"And Jeongguk told us you have some sort of history with the wedding planner? Why didn't you tell us?" Hoseok asks Namjoon, firmly.

Seokjin notices how Yoongi and Namjoon are uncomfortable with the sudden attention. "But first, did you all see how Jeongguk and Byeol got it on? And talking about Byeol, where is she? I asked her to come."

"Hyung, we will get to that in a moment. But first, Yoongi hyung and Namjoon hyung need to talk." Taehyung blocks Seokjin's diversion plan.

The others nod in unison at Taehyung's words.

"I'm ready to talk about it." Yoongi decides.

Namjoon sighs, "It's better to get it over with."

The staff joins some tables together and brings some extra chairs for everyone to sit. BTS and the girls thank the staff and take their seats.

They order some beverages since they already ate at the wedding.

Yoongi and Namjoon take turns to narrate their stories to the group. By the end of it everyone is shocked.

"What the...!" Eunha says in shock.

"When I saw you and noona together, I thought, you guys worked it out." Taehyung states his opinion.

"True, it didn't look like you were pretending at all." Areum points out.

Yoongi smiles, wistfully. "Well, when I'm with her, I don't have to pretend."

"Then why do you want to give up, Hyung?" Hoseok asks seriously.

"It's not that simple. I don't want her to be in pain because of me." Yoongi explains.

"Maybe things will turn around, Yoongs!" Kara beams at him.

"Good one!" Seokjin laughs and they high five each other.

Yoongi is confused. "What?"

"Turn around, Hyung." Jeongguk looks at him, happily.
