At a wedding

Chapter 2

"I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." The priest announces happily.

Minho lifts Somi's veil, "I love you."

"I love you too." Somi answers.

They kiss each other. The guests stand up and  start clapping, some even hoot at the kiss. In the midst of this, Seokjin and Kara sit and watch the happy couple, indifferently.

"You guys, what is wrong with you? Stand up and clap! People are watching you both." Sunhee chides them.

"Do we really have to?" Both Kara and Seokjin pout at her.

"Yes!"

They stand up as though it's the greatest inconvenience to them and clap with fake smiles on their faces. Sunhee doesn't know what Kara and Seokjin's deal is but she almost regrets coming with them.

The couple break their kiss and smile at the guests. They walk down the aisle hand in hand.

Seoyun makes her way to the front of the aisle. "Hello, I'm the wedding planner, Hwang Seoyun. The reception will continue in another side of the garden. My assistants will guide you there. The bride and the groom will have their wedding shoot now and will join you all in a short while. Until then please help yourselves to some snacks and drinks."

Some of Seoyun's assistants begin guiding the guests to the reception area.

"You did a great job, Soey!" Seoyun hears someone say.

She knows who it is without even looking. "Don't call me that. And I don't need compliments from you."

"I know you don't need it. I just wanted to tell you that you did a great job." Namjoon smiles, gently, at her.

She huffs at him. "Whatever. I'm done. And do me a favour, stay away from me." She walks away from him without giving him a chance to reply.

He shakes his head at her retreating figure. "Maybe I'm not going to." He whispers. He sighs and makes his way towards his friends.

After Seoyun's announcement, Yoongi, Jimin, Taehyung, Areum and Jeongguk get up from their seats and make their way towards Seokjin, Kara, Sunhee and Haneul.

"Jin hyung! What the hell!" Yoongi asks when they are close enough.

"Why didn't you tell us you both were going to be here? And Haneul, why didn't you tell me you were coming to the wedding too?" Areum asks.

Haneul bites her lips, nervously. She looks at her feet to avoid looking at Taehyung. "I didn't know you were coming to the same wedding. Jinsung, didn't have a date so he asked me."

Haneul introduces them to Jinsung. Taehyung glares at Jinsung. Poor Jinsung, doesn't know what he did to Haneul's ex-boyfriend. He decides to be close to Haneul to be safe, irritating Taehyung even more.

"What about you about you both?" Jeongguk looks at them, sternly.

"Whaaaaat! You guys were talking about this wedding! I didn't know." Seokjin says, jokingly.

"We thought you guys were going to another wedding." Kara adds.

"You both are too much!" Jimin huffs.

"Quit acting and tell us what's going on?" Taehyung asks them, directly.

Haneul doesn't know if Taehyung's sharp words are directed towards Seokjin and Kara or her. She looks up, shyly.

Taehyung is not looking at her but he knows she is looking at him. 'Why the hell is that guy so close to you?'

"You're here for the free food, aren't you?" Jeongguk asks

Everyone looks at him, stifling their smiles.

"I swear, Jeonggukie you're the only one who'll think they are here for free food. Did you forget you guys are BTS? You can probably afford the most expensive food on this planet." Sunhee pulls his cheeks.

"Uh! Noona stop! Don't baby me in public." Jeongguk complains.

Kara eyes light up, "Does this mean I'm allowed to baby you in private? Just you wait, Jeonggukie!"

Jeongguk looks like he is questioning his life's choices.

"Stop with the distractions! Tell us what is happening." Yoongi wants to know the truth.

Seokjin looks at Kara. "You really had to open your mouth, didn't you? If you would have shut up for just a little while, they would have forgotten all about this and we would have gotten away."

She hangs her head. "I'm sorry Jinnie. I couldn't control myself. You know, I love babying Jeongguk."

"OMG! You both! You are so annoying." Areum exclaims exasperatedly.

Hoseok joins the group. "Jin hyung, Kara noona, why didn't you tell us you were going to be here?" He notices Haneul. "Oh! Hello Haneul. I didn't know you were going to be here." He greets her stiffly.

"Oh! I'm here only because my friend didn't have a date." She introduces Hoseok and Jinsung to each other.

"You both could have told us you were coming to the wedding." Hoseok wags a finger at them. "Are you both Sunhee noona's date?"

"Hobi hyung, Byeol told us that they were invited." Taehyung informs him.

Hoseok looks shocked. "Invited? You both know Somi and Minho?"

Namjoon joins the group. "Jin hyung, Kara noona what's your deal?"
