The next morning everything was different. It was around 9 am when Y/N woke up and around 3 pm she could go home. She hadn't slept much. She woke up many times and she cried a lot. Her eyes were still puffy and a little bit red.
She was looking through the window for as far as she could. She saw birds flying around, looked at the shapes of the clouds. Since she was laying down, she couldn't see much other than those things. Birds and clouds. The sun was there too, but she couldn't see it since she was on the wrong side of the building.
Everything that had happened outside, everything she saw, it was as if she noticed it without actually seeing it. She was looking with her eyes, but she wasn't with her mind. Everything she had seen, just didn't come in.
She wanted to get ready to go home, but she didn't know how to. She couldn't do much. However, later Ms. Kim visited. She helped her a lot and now she offered to give her a ride home. Y/N wouldn't know what to do if she wasn't there.
"Are you ready to go?" Ms. Kim asked while Y/N nodded. She wanted to be anywhere but here, in this hospital. A wheelchair was prepared and Y/N felt bad about how she would get in. The bed she was laying on was a bit higher than the chair itself and she would struggle if she tried it herself, maybe even get hurt, so Ms. Kim suggested lifting her.
Since Y/N isn't that heavy, she would happily do it. If she was a bit heavy, Ms. Kim would call a nurse to help. "But... what about your back? You said it hurts lately." Y/N protested a little bit, but Ms. Kim wasn't the one to start a discussion with. If she has something on her mind... "It's not that bad and besides, it got a lot better. I can easily help you out here." She answered.
Suddenly, the door of the hospital room opened. Y/N looked at where the sound came from since she couldn't see who had come in it. She wondered if it was a nurse when she suddenly stopped breathing. The way he walked closer and stood still when their eyes met. The loving look in his dark brown eyes... it was something her heart started to race for.
"Y-Yoongi?" The name rolled from her tongue. How she said it was so precious, with smoothness yet some shock. She didn't expect him here. Yoongi however, was somehow quite amused with the look in her eyes. It gave him shivers deep down. He was nervous though because he didn't want her to tell him it was over again. He was there now but as a friend. As someone who wouldn't leave her side.
"I should leave the two of you for a moment." Ms. Kim said, noticing how the atmosphere had changed from normal to something different. Something she didn't belong in. It was a sign for her to leave.
On her way out, Yoongi stopped her for a moment and mumbled something towards her. Y/N couldn't hear what it was about, but it didn't matter to her because she was staring a bit. She wasn't paying attention to his mumbling, but more at him in general.
Just then when Ms. Kim left, he looked at her, wondering if she felt comfortable with him alone. Even if she didn't, Yoongi would not leave. When he caught her staring at him, she quickly looked away, but couldn't hide a stutter while asking him a question."W-What are you doing here Yoongi?"
She honestly thought he wouldn't come back here. "I'm here for you." He started by saying the obvious but continued as if it wasn't awkward at all. As if they didn't break up the day before. "You know I'll always be here for you. You don't have to push me away. I'm here to bring you home."
Y/N looked at him, didn't know what to do exactly. One side of her wanted to hug him, but another didn't. She didn't want him to take care of her. She doesn't want to be a burden to him. "You don't have to. Ms. Kim will bring me home."
Yoongi stared at her face. He was clueless on the fact she may do not realize it. "I don't know if you acknowledge but it's our house. We live there together. You may be expecting me to leave, but you also know I won't do that. There's no reason for me to leave you." He said.
