THIS is the season of fall. Their leaves have fallen to the forest floor. It's filling slowly like a sorrow we clasp. Walking in the woods. Making leaves in my hands. Breeze and the leaves as they dance upon the autumn wind. Embrace the air of autumn. Dancing away to the woods.
The beckoning fingers of the maple leaves as they curl and plait, each falling into a timeless dance lasting only seconds before it reaches the floor. From the eyes of a child, it looks like a fun game to play.
But beware with fun and games, it coyly calls those reddish leaves with fingers splayed-but heed not its invitation. For treacherous is the forest when it freezes, and subtle are its whispers in the air. Death does not creep-it sings you a tune, and dancing away will tree go down with the leaves laid upon the forest floor.
A meaningful word for the future wife of Mr. Han Seungwoo. He loves her with all his heart. He was ready to be with her and build a happy family.
Today is their wedding. He was so excited at the same time nervous. Seungwoo can't believe that they were on the part that they will vow to God. In front of their loved ones. They were on the peck of the new stage of challenges.
As the back door opened, his beautiful bride appeared. She was the prettiest girl in the world. He can't wait to see her beauty behind the veil.
Eve is beautiful, that's why she has a lot of suitors. But Seungwoo only stands left. He waited for her to finish her studies before it became official. He didn't fall in love with her beauty nor body, thus he fell for her soul.
"Before we start the wedding ceremony, does anyone here oppose this couple getting married? Raise your hand if you do." The priest asked.
One of their guests bravely raised his hand. "Me! I was against their wedding!"
Everyone's attention was on that guy, as he walked through the aisle. Seungwoo was caught off guard, knowing one of his friends was against their wedding.
"W-Wooseok?"
"You know that I was the one that Eve loved. I should be in your position. Sadly, I was not wealthy like you. Her parents don't like me for her because I am poor. And I am here to get my girl."
In the blink of an eye, Wooseok was on the front. Holding Eve's wrist. Before Wooseok could pull Eve out of the church, Seungwoo holds her left arm. He was firm of not letting her go.
"Let go, Kim Wooseok."
"No. You let go, Han Seungwoo."
"How dare you say that. This is our wedding. You just crashed the best day of my life."
"Sorry but not sorry Seungwoo. The best day of your life will be the worst day of your life." He smirked, not breaking eye contact.
Seungwoo looked at Eve, hoping to choose him and continue their wedding. She bitterly smiled, as she slowly remove Seungwoo's hands on her left arm.
"Eve..."
"I am sorry Seungwoo. We can't be together. I tried to love you, but I can't. I can't fool my heart..."
"S-So you're choosing h-him?"
"I'm sorry. Let's end it here." She said and left. As their hands intertwined while running out of the church.
Seungwoo on the other hand was heart broken. He sat (asian squat hehe), as the tears were released on his eyes. His friends went to him and comforted the eldest.
"Hyung..."
They can't say anything that could cheer him up. So, the six of them gathered hugging Seungwoo.
Starting on this day, I'm never gonna fall in love again. I'm never gonna love again. Eve, you're so painful to love.
