(Hellloooo! I'm in school, as always XD I mean, it's some of the only time that I have to write xD so yeah, WITHOUT FURTHER ADO, LET THE FANFIC RESUME!)

Over the next few months, Scott had all but basically moved in with Mitch and his parents. The blonde's parents had separated about a month after the Grassi's started letting Scott stay with them. His father moved to Dallas and found a woman there while Scott's mother had been so stressed that she didn't even notice Scott wasn't there.

By Thanksgiving, Scott had decided to just completely move in with the Grassi's since his mother was always out of the house, doing something. She had found a nice lawyer guy, but Scott wanted none of it. So, he packed up and moved down the street.

Scott and Mitch however, were stronger than ever. They were practically attached by the hip and they had worked out a schedule where one night a week Mitch's parents would have date night and not come back until the early hours of the morning, leaving the teens time alone, which of course, benefited both couples.

Kirstie and Avi however, had slowly drifted apart, which wasn't neccessarily a bad thing. They both had agreed that they should just be friends again because that was the relationship level that had transpired anyway. Luckily, after a week or so, things weren't awkward between the two anymore and their group was able to still hang out all the time.

The friends had also decided to start an a cappella group together, when they weren't in school. They called themselves Pentatonix and they posted videos on YouTube and shockingly (to them), they had views... a lot of views. Like five thousand views. Which was completely INSANE. They were famous throughout their town and school, always taking selfies with underclassmen and signing a few autographs for kids in middle school.

All in all, life was okay. They had their bad days when Scott slipped into a stressed-out shell of himself when all he could think about were his parents. On those days, he and Mitch drove to visit his dad for the day and then they would drive back and sleep at his Mom's house. Those visits along with Mitch's comforting usually calmed him down.

On the afternoon of December 15th, Scott had a meltdown. This one was intense; much worse than normal. He had bust out sobbing on the couch and Mitch had absolutely no clue what was happening. The brunette just wrapped him in a strong embrace and called Kirstie and told her to go to Scott's mom's house. He immediately drove them down the road the couple blocks to Connie's home and gently led him into the cozy house and called for Mrs. Hoying. She rushed over to her son who was still in a daze of weeping. She assessed him and hugged him while whispering that everything is okay. Nothing consoled the blonde. Eventually, he calmed down after crying on the couch for an hour with his mother embracing him and Mitch's hand intertwined with his along with the Kirstie's soothing hand rubbing his back.

Connie, Kirstie, and Mitch all came to the decision that this was much more than simply missing his parents. They decided to take him to a psychologist and he was diagnosed with an increasing case of separation anxiety disorder and they concluded that the only thing keeping him from actually having a breakdown was Mitch's constant presence.

Scott received medication and he was immediately scheduled for therapy lessons that Mitch too was allowed to attend, after they figured out that there was no way Scott could open up without Mitch comforting him.

So, they went to therapy and very slowly Scott's demons began to be brought to the light. With his medication and his family and friends, he was able to go without driving to his parents' homes for a day and then a week and a little bit longer each time with the only condition being that Mitch was there, but it wasn't like there would be a time he wasn't.

Christmas and New Year's passed by with half joy and half sorrow as the festivities ran on but Scott was still not able to enjoy them. He had moments of happiness but all in all, he just wanted to crawl out of his skin the majority of the time.

Valentine's Day passed with a romantic date that Scott had set up at the fanciest restaurant in town and afterward, they had a lot of fun with dessert.

All that Scott knew for the next few months was: wake up, eat, go to school, go home, cuddle, and go to bed. Thankfully, the therapy did help him and by February, he was able to relax and go out with his friends, something that hadn't happened in months.

By April, Scott was almost back to his normal self, minus the meds and therapy. He still continued those and most likely would for the foreseeable future. But that was okay. And it was okay. And everything was okay. Until June 1st.

(So um shit's about to go down. And I'm sorry this is so choppy, I had to add bit by bit whenever I had time. And I'm sorry for the massive timeskip. And it's kinda long? Maybe? Anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed it and I am very sorry for the next chapter but it has to happen.)

***Also, tell me if you guys want the Valentine's Day smut in my Whims book ;)

Love you guys and stay sassy :*
