Danny Gonzalez screamed.
"Wtf dude," he groaned as Cody laughed after slamming him into a locker.
"Lighten up man," Cody said shoving him playfully and cracking his signature sexy smile. He caught Kurtis' eye as he walked sheepishly toward them and grabbed him by the collar shoving him into the lockers and breathing down his neck. Danny watched on edge as Cody began mocking their friend. That was just Cody, the sexy bitch that didn't have many boundaries. The guy could do whatever he wanted though, he got away with everything, all the girls swooned, and he was ridiculously cool even when he was being inappropriate. Him and Noel. But Danny sort of saw them as closer friends with each other than the rest of the group. They were sexy duchebags and they knew it. The three of them made their way out of the school and out onto the turf field. Noel and Drew were sitting on the field, stretching. Even though practice didn't start for another 10 minutes, Drew took his job as captain very seriously, and Noel just liked the attention. The three walked on through the gates and Cody plopped down beside Noel, taking a joint and a lighter from his pocket and lighting it with it in his mouth. He took a quick drag and puffed it out before handing it to Noel. Drew glared at them as he stretched his beautifully defined quads. "You shouldn't be doing that," He warned. "Oh fuck off captain," cody mocked him. he put the bunt out though. Danny and Kurtis glanced at each other before sitting down themselves. They were the quieter of the group, and thus, were probably as close as Cody and Noel. Drew really was the glue holding them together. As a mutual friend to them all, and the most talented on the field, he made them all feel like hanging out together. And they had, since the first grade.
Drew stood and Danny couldn't help but stare as the toned boy as he threw his stick over his head and into his other hand, the ball staying in the pocket the whole time. He began to cradle with his muscular arms, and his tank top blew back with the wind, revealing his chest tattoos. His parents had been so angry when he came back with them after the groups trip to vegas last summer, and Danny grinned to himself at the memory.
He was snapped back to the present by Cody wacking him lightly with his stick. He raised his eyebrows at Danny with a smirk, calling him out with that stupid glint in his eyes. Cody kept Danny's crush dangled over him, unspoken, almost like blackmail. It sucked, liking Drew. All Danny ever wanted to do was check his stupid stick and kiss him right here on the field. But that was stupid. Besides, Drew didn't see Danny like that, and he certainly wouldn't approve of pda anyway. Especially on the field, where he was in his element and he had a reputation. Lacrosse was everything to him. Danny frowned and looked down at his nike kleats. After practice, the boys went their separate ways to prep for Noel's party. He was always the host of epic weekend parties, and so many people came. Not just people from school- weird drug addicts from the street, other lacrosse teams, hot chicks from all over, and even some professors.
Kurtis and Danny decided to get ready together. Kurtis was very interested in his personal style, but he sometimes tried a little too hard. Like when they went to vegas and got tattoos, Kurtis and Drew had gotten chest tattoos, but while Drew got them out of sponteneity, Kurtis had been trying to mimick Harry Styles, his idol. Danny hadn't actually gotten any, just because he didn't feel like he knew what he wanted being so young. He wasn't quite sure what was important to him yet. Sure, he liked comedy and lacrosse, but he wasn't about to get a lacrosse stick tattooed on him. That would probably look tacky.
Kurtis had applied a small amount of highlight to his already toned face and began to put curls in Danny's hair. Danny didn't usually do much with his hair, but Kurtis had practically begged him to let him dress him up a little. They were sitting in Danny's bedroom, which was a dark blue, with led lights strung around and a really dope gaming setup on his desk. A glass of milk was perched precariously on the edge of said desk.
"How do you think this one's gonna play out?" Kurtis asked, almost sarcastically. Danny smiled lightly, looking up at Kurtis with the mirror.
"Probably just as weird as every other party," he said with a smirk, "Although you never know, something even wilder than usual could occur."
