It had been a year after my little brother, Parker, disappeared without a trace. Many people believe it was a kip napping or a murder but I believe it had something supernatural to do with it, and my suspicion had been confirmed at 3 a.m. on May 5th 1994. The whole town was sleeping, and I heard a knock at the front door. I had turned into a light sleeper after Parkers disappearance, thinking he'd come home and I would miss it. I opened the door and to my surprise saw my long lost brother, standing emotionless in the low glimmer of the moonlight. Tears immediately fell down my face, while I fell to the ground, still in shock.

My brother remand emotionless even when my parents came rushing towards me, awakened when I had collapsed. My dad, with tears in his eyes looked at Parker, and said, whispering almost, "I-is that really y-you Parker..?" Parker looked up at my dad remaining emotionless as he said, "yes father, it is me." My dad and mom ran towards him and embraced him in a tight hug. I finally was brought out of shock by Parker saying "hello, Sierra." I quickly hugged him, and he barely patted my back. I was confused by his attitude, but was still over joyed that he was there, in my home, not harmed a bit.

In the 9th month of Parker being missing, my family had lost hope and made his once blue and vibrant room into a dark grey office, with no glimmer the room once had. We put him in the guest room, and that's where he would live until they got his room back. We tried to ask where he'd been, or what had happened, but not a word came out of his mouth. It was kinda scary seeing him. He used to have a bright glimmer in his eyes, giving him life, now his eyes were emotionless, no sparkle or anything. He acted like a robot. He also used to have this big bright smile that would light up any room, now all he had was a subtle frown and hooded eyes with bags underneath them. He used to be happy.

I was very suspicious of Parker. I knew him, I was his closest friend, and this wasn't him. My parents even put him in his room and he didn't even sleep, or move! He just sat there, on his bed, staring at the wall blankly. I watched for about 40 minutes, and I heard him mutter something that I couldn't quite pick up.

I ran to my parents, who where in the kitchen discussing this incident, and told them what he was doing, and that I was suspicious because he wasn't acting like the Parker we had known. Instead of my parents congratulating me for telling them, they scolding me and told me that there was many good conclusions to explain his behaviors. And to never say that he wasn't my real brother. I stormed up to my room, trying to process everything. I soon just excepted that he was my brother, and I had been watching too many horror movie. But a little part of me continued telling me that something was wrong.
