"I can't do this. I can't do this. I'm gonna call them and cancel."
Wat literally have been fidgeting around the room, chanting that, for the past half an hour.

It's his first time ever that he'll be singing in public. He's just freaking out worrying that he's not good enough.

"Wat, baby, calm down for a second there, will you" I cooed

"P'Tineee~~" he cried out.

I softly chuckled at went closer to hug him. "You're gonna do amazing. Stop worrying so much, little one" I said rubbing his back in circles to soothe him a bit.

"But-" Wat started.

"No more buts. You've the most incredible voice and you're better than any of the singers out there. So stop freaking out and take a nap" I said but he doesn't look convinced.

He thinks I'm biased about his singing but he doesn't seem to understand the fact that he really is an amazing singer.

"Please, baby, for me" I added, giving him puppy eyes which I know he'll never refuse.

He hummed in response. And the puppy eyes for the win again.

I ran my hand through locks of Wat's hair as he fell asleep on my lap.

*ring* *ring*

Pam is calling me.

"Hey" I whispered lifting the call.

I didn't want to wake Wat up and I couldn't take the call in other room because Wat was literally clinging to my leg like a koala bear.

("Hi") she whispered back

"What is it, Pam?" I asked still keeping my voice very low.

("Why are we whispering again?") she asked

"I'm kinda busy, Pam. Plus no one asked you to whisper, you idiot" I whisper-yelled the last part.

(Oh yeah. You're right. Why was I whispering.
So anyhoo, I called 'cause I wanted to ask if you're free tonight?")

"Oh why?" I asked

("So that we can go hangout and catch up, idiot. Did you already forget?! I told you like yesterday, Tine")

Shit I did forget about that.

"Pam, mind if I take a rain check on that?"

("Oh come on, Tine. What could you be possibly doing on a Sunday night?") she whined
