"Jinnie, I knew it would be you!"

Jin looked at the customer blankly. To say he was shocked was an understatement. He was looking at Jeon Jungkook, his former best friend who hurt him so much and the sole reason why he decided to move away.

"Hey, Jin!" Jungkook stepped closer to nudge Jin out of his state but Jin regained his thoughts in time and quickly stepped back and away from Jungkook's touch. This didn't go unnoticed by Jungkook but he played it off.

"It's been a long time, Jin. How are you?" He asked. He cannot stop looking at Jin who still held the same beauty he's always admired but has a difference to it that he cannot pinpoint.

"I'm doing great, Mr. Jeon. Any problem or concern with the food?" Jin replied formally, thankful he didn't stutter. He was nervous, but he won't let the man have the satisfaction of seeing him like that.

Jungkook realized the difference in Jin he noticed earlier. Jin's eyes no longer held the warmth that he's always had when he looked at him. His voice seemed a little harder than the one he's always used with Jungkook. But still, he played it cool thinking Jin was just awkward because they haven't met and talked to each other for years.

"None, of course. You know I always enjoy your food and cooking. In fact, I think this will be my favorite restaurant from now on. And come on, don't be so formal. You know my name, Mr. Jeon is my dad." He smiled his bunny smile.

"Thank you, Jungkook-ssi. If there's nothing else, then I'll leave you to your server for tonight." He bowed and started to leave when Jungkook held his arms to stop him.

"Jinnie, don't be like that. We haven't seen in ages. We should catch up."

"It's Seokjin-ssi for you, Jungkook-ssi. And catching up are for friends only. If you'll excuse me, I have many things to do." With that, he left Jungkook who was confused as to why Jin was acting like that with him.

Jungkook saw Jin was met by another man. He remembered him and was surprised that he was still around Jin. He got so annoyed when he saw Jin smiled at the man warmly and the said man has his arms around Jin's petite waist while walking out of the restaurant.
