Chapter 2: The Meet

Adrians POV:

After more than 2 hours later, we arrive at another palace.It isn't as big as ours but it still is really big.My mother holds my hand and we walk inside where two people greet us,the women has beautiful long dark blonde hair and but her face is covered with a lot of make up which makes her ugly,her lips are over-lined making her look over 40 and the man looks scary with wrinkles all over his face and blackish white hair but nothing close to what my father looks like.

They exchange a few "hi" "hellos" with some other important people,i can sense the power but its nothing close to what my father and his people hold. They seem like they have a smaller rank but i ignore it trying not to be nosey.We walk further inside and my heartbeat starts to slow down and my stomach churns.I scrunch my eyes in confusion and looks around and try to sniff something.

My mother looks at me and she has a worried expression on her face,

"Honey are you okay??" She kneels down beside me putting her hand on my forehead.

I shake my head no and she gets more worried,my father is quick on his feet.

"oh my god,you are burning" he looks at his wife concerned and whispers;

"Can this be...?" She looks at him confused and a sudden realisation hits her.Suddenly, my heart starts hammering against my chest and i smell the sweetest scent ever.It smells like strawberry and vanilla.My wolf jumps in excitement and I'm still confused. Delicious...

What's going on...?

I start walking in the direction of the scent ignoring my parents and the other two people.I walk faster when i realise, its close.I reach a door and i touch it calming down.My parents are in full blown shock and so are the other two people.

"Is everything okay??" The women asks.

"Who's room is this?" My father asks both of them completely ignoring her question.

"This is our daughter, Madison's room.Is everything okay??" My father and mother look between each other and then them.

"Is it okay if adrian can go play with her while we can talk about our plans?" My mother interferes.

They think momentarily and agree with a nod.The women isabella who i now believe is madisons mom leads me in but before that my father takes me a little far from their hearing reach and says while grasping my shoulders,

"Hey kiddo so you remember about the mate thing,i told you about?"

I nod furiously,

"Well i um..." he curses under his breath.

"She's your mate,that's why you feel like this."

My breath gets caught in my throat. Mi-mine...? I finally found my mate??

"But don't I have to wait till 18?" I ask.

"No you are a lucky boy,you found her really early"

My wolf howls in pleasure and jumps.It excites me too,i have never been so excited to meet someone but only for her.I smile at my father and follow Isabella inside.My heart stops beating when i look at her for the first time...She's so beautiful...i keep admiring her completely unconscious of my surrounding.Her beautiful shoulder length blonde hair,her gorgeous ocean blue orbs and her pink cute lips.I already am in love with her.

Wait...what? What's happening to me? Is this normal? So many questions flood my head but i push them all out and lock them.Right now I'll talk and play with her.No questions.She looks up at me and she is so adorable...and OMG SHE SMILES AT ME!!!!
"Hi"she politely says but I'm in too much off a shock to say anything back.She repeats herself but standing up now with the support of her chair.

"Hi" i smile big at her.I can't breathe,its getting so hot in here.
"Okay then,I'll leave you both alone,Adrian please keep an eye on her"she tells me and i nod and then she leaves.

"Who al you?"she asks.

"We're going to be friends,my name is Adrian " i grin and extend my hand for her to hold it.She does and my heart is stammering against my chest and i can feel her pulse is high too.So she is feelings the same way!!!!!!!

"My name is medicine(madison)and im foul(four)." She says while I hold both of her hands and we walk a little.Shes the cutest baby I've seen. Well the only baby.

10 minutes later of us just asking small questions and walking,I assume she's tired by her sigh so i help her sit down on her mat with toys and pick one doll.

"Thats mine...!" She whines and i laugh on the inside.

"Can you please share with me...?" I try to look cute but come as an idiot.

She examines my face and I'm lost in her eyes.While I'm distracted,she snatches the doll from me. Smart girl. I pretend to look sad and keep looking down.We play for some time together but i try my best to show her,I'm still hurt.

Moments later,she stands and surprises me by HUGGING ME!!!! I'm so caught off guard by her gesture that I don't notice her grip tighten around me. After my senses kick in,i hug her really tight making sure not to squish her.She's so soft and stunning...I just can't. I notice her grip loosening and i assume she's falling asleep. I adore her.

It has not even been ten minutes yet she has me wrapped around her finger.I smile and my wolf is howling in agreement with me.I stand up with her in my arms,she's so light. As i walk towards the bed,a boy around my age or possibly younger than me comes in and what he says makes my blood boil,

"Hey sugarplum what are you upt-...?" He looks me up and down and i am looking at him with so much hatred.If looks could kill,he would be 35 feet down. My wolf growls in agreement.

"Who are you? And why are you here?"I ask him while putting her in the bed and pulling the duvet over her.

"I don't think you are in the position to ask me that but anyways whatever I'm her brother James"

A wave of relied washes over me.Thank god...I would have hurt him for calling her sugarplum in both ways but I'll let it slide.No one touches or calls what's mine.Mine?!What has happened to me...? I'm knocked from my thoughts when my beautiful baby whimpers,i frown at her.

"A-adlian..." she moves around trying to search for something. She holds my arm and hugs it.My heart is about to burst from the cuteness...I smile at her and ignoring my red flushed cheeks as i sit next to her and wait while his brother looks me up and down.

"What?" I ask.

"Nothing" he says. I don't push him to talk and just roll my eyes.

"Well is there anything you want then?"i snap at him.

"You better watch your language,you skunk. This is my house so better watch that pathetic tongue of yours." He threatens me.

I decide to stay quiet or i would tie him up in the bathroom with his head between his legs.

Afterwards, he leaves leaving me alone with my beautiful gorgeous baby until a few minutes later she wakes up from someone screaming across the corridor...
