After eating her grilled cheese, Baylor looked really tired. Bucky picked her up and she almost immediately fell asleep in his arms. He asked if there was a spot she could sleep while he told the team what had happened. Tony told him to leave her on a couch in the living room so that if she woke up she would see them in the conference room. He put her on the couch, covered her in a blanket. Bucky found a plush bear in her backpack that he tucked under the blanket with her.

He followed Steve into the conference room to tell everybody the whole story. Including the parts from the very beginning of being taken by HYDRA. The whole story took about an hour which was the exact time Baylor woke up.

Baylor's Point of View
Baylor slowly opened her eyes. She was on a forgein couch. She started to panic before she remembered everything. Today, yesterday, mainly yesterday. She remembered her mother's screams of pain before silence. The gunshots. The rain pouring down as if the skies were crying for her. She started crying as everyone was walking out of the conference room.

Bucky ran over to her and wrapped her into a hug. "What's wrong dolly?"

"M-mommy and daddy. They're gone. I'm never gonna see them again." She cried into his chest as she clung to the man stroking her hair. She could feel the gaze of everyone on her and she didn't like it. She didn't like all of these new people paying attention to her. Baylor did the only thing she could think of and ran. She didn't care where to.

But her legs were too small so she didn't get far before Bucky grabbed her and knelt on the ground holding her in his arms.

Wanda's Point of View
It was a lot to digest, the whole story of a man she just met. But she understood his pain when he talked about HYDRA. She had been there too after all. When he was done talking, they all walked out to go about their days. She was hoping to meet the little girl, Baylor, he had brought with him.

When they walked out the little girl was crying about her dead parents, Wanda didn't know what to do but knew how she felt. Losing parents was so hard. She had lost hers when she was only ten. But Baylor would probably forget most if not all of her memories with her parents except for the last ones by the time she was eight.

When the girl went running, Wanda went over to Tony and asked about finding them a couple rooms to stay in. Of course Tony being Tony Stark, gave them half a floor that was like a giant apartment. After Bucky got her to calm down, Wanda slowly walked over to them. Baylor had her head resting on Bucky's shoulder, cautiously looking at Wanda.

"Hey little one," she tried to keep her voice soft and sweet. "Do you want me to show you and Bucky to where you'll stay?"

The little girl nodded her head and Wanda motioned for Bucky to follow her. They got in an elevator and Baylor asked just like before, "Can I push the button?"

"Of course little one," Wnada told her. "Push the one that says fifteen."

Bucky leaned down so Baylor could press it and the elevator started to move. Wanda noticed Baylor clutching Bucky a little tighter when it started to move but Bucky rubbed her back and she loosened her grip a bit.

"So Baylor, what's your favorite color?" Wanda wanted to get things to decorate her room with.

"I like green." The little girl seemed to relax a little bit.

"Well then, at some point we must get some green decorations for your room. Does that sound alright?"
Baylor nodded and the elevator dinged to signal their arrival on the fifteenth floor. They shared the other half of the floor with Steve and Nat, the cutest couple in Wanda's opinion, she told them. She gave them a mini tour and then left them saying she'd come back in half an hour so they could go get some decor.
