Baylor's Point of View
She had just chosen dare when something crashed through the windows and blew up. She was stuck under some rubble trying to free herself when she felt a pinch in her neck. She saw a syringe sticking out.
"Nighty night," a voice said before everything went black.
She woke up in a room, chained to a chair unable to move. There was a bunch of equipment and some scary looking machine attached to the chair.
"Great you're awake," said a man in a lab coat walking towards her. "We are almost ready to start the procedure."
She tried to speak but realized she couldn't speak because there was a cloth in her mouth. She had been so worried she hadn't even noticed it until now.
"In three, two, one." A person in the lab coats pressed a button and the machine attached to the chair started to close in on her. Baylor's stomach twisted, her heart pounded, her head whirred and then all she felt was pain as a muffled scream came out of her mouth and into the cloth.
"Тоска, потеря, пятнадцать, сумерки, печь, семь, мягкий, молодой, один, балерина."
She recognized the Russian and translated it in her head. "Longing, loss, fifteen, dusk, furnace, seven, soft, young, one, ballerina." Just before her mind went blank, she remembered Bucky teaching her Russian.
"Soldier?"
"Ready to comply," she responded.
"You will train as the super soldier you now are and then go on missions for us. Understood?"
"Yes sir."
They led her down a hallway to a studio where a person was waiting in the middle of the room. They explained that she would try on pointe shoes until she found ones that fit her and train in them to gain core and leg strength. She spent the next twenty minutes trying on shoes. She couldn't remember where but somewhere she had learned to dance in pointe shoes. She finally found ones that would fit and support her so she wouldn't hurt herself. They couldn't have that. And she was left alone with the teacher.
Her first day she just learned a simple combination but it would require a lot of strength. She stopped only for lunch and then continued into the night. That night when she finished and was led to dinner, all she could think of was how her feet hurt but of course it was for training.
She ate in a cafeteria where there were a few other soldiers before being led down a hallway to a door marked "47 a". The guard with her unlocked it and gestured for her to walk inside. As soon as she walked in, the metal door banged closed and the room plunged into darkness. She slowly took off her clothes from the day, folding and putting them on a chair she found by feeling her way against the walls. Baylor found a closet that was basically a small cabinet. In there she found pajama shorts and a white T-shirt. She slowly found her bed that felt even smaller than a twin sized one and fell asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow. It didn't even matter that it was lumpy and the mattress was basically a wooden board.
Bucky's Point of View
He heard Nat cry out Baylor's name and he looked around to see her being dragged unconsciously into a jet. He tried to get to her but a bunch of agents surrounded him and Steve who had both been blown towards the kitchen.
Everyone fought off the agents and Wanda cleaned up the rubble and fixed the building with her powers. Bucky was freaking out. Thoughts flew through his head about Baylor. And how he thought, had Peter left only this morning.
