The Wendigo (Mina Ashido x OC)

Chapter 1

AN: Instead of writing out Mineta like in my other story, I'll be writing out Sato. He is, by far, my least favorite character in Class 1A. IDC, fight me.

Yushedo Tekato walked through the long halls of his new school, UA. He had dreamed of coming to this school for years, as had many others. His family, recognizing he had a relatively powerful quirk and a great spirit, always encouraged him to do so.

And now, he was standing in front of the door leading to his new classroom. Class 1A.

He immediately noticed that the door was several feet taller than he was, he himself being 6'3 and very lean. He turned the knob and opened it, rather surprised at how light it was despite its size.

Upon entering the classroom, he saw two people standing near the front engaged in conversation.

One of them was a bespectacled young man a few inches shorter than Yushedo. He had bluish black hair and an authoritative aura about him. He seemed to be really into his conversation as he chopped the air in stiff robotic movements.

The other person was a rather tall girl with long black hair in a spiky ponytail. She had her hands folded together at her waist as she smiled at the man in front of her, politely listening to his every word.

Neither of the two noticed him at first, so he tried to quietly and discreetly make his way to his assigned seat at the very back of the room. He should've known this wouldn't work. He didn't exactly blend into a crowd.

In a world where people gained abilities known as Quirks, many people had physical abnormalities. Sometimes they were directly related to their Quirk, and other times they weren't. While some people had subtle changes in their appearance, such as irregularly colored eyes or hair, other people had different qualities.

In Yushedo's case, he had curly black hair and purple eyes. His skin was on the paler side, threatening to be almost completely white. However, the trait that stuck out most to others were his teeth and a pair of deer antlers sticking out of his head.

In all fairness, most people didn't notice his teeth unless he opened his mouth. He had two very sharp fangs. Unlike his father's fangs, Yushedo's were small enough to stay inside of his mouth. For this, Yushedo was grateful.

His antlers were a different story. They were fairly large themselves, each of them about ten inches in length and sticking out the top of his head and through his hair.

"Hello fellow classmate, I am Tenya Iida!" The bespectacled student said as he marched his way over to Yushedo. He extended his hand and looked up at Yushedo expectantly.

"O-oh..." Yushedo said as he reached out his hand to shake Iida's, "Yushedo Tekato."

"Nice to make your acquaintance, Tekato! It's also pleasing to see that you've arrived early like myself and our fellow classmate, Yaoyorozu!"

Yushedo looked slightly to Iida's left and saw the girl, presumably Yaoyorozu, smiling politely at him.

"Momo Yaoyorozu. Pleasure to meet you, Tekato."

"Nice to meet you, too."

They both nodded at each other before turning their attention back to Iida.

"It appears that our very own teacher isn't here to greet us on the first day. How disappointing. I would have expected more from the most prestigious school in all of Japan."

Yushedo glanced at the open door behind him and shrugged.

"Maybe he had something to attend to at the last minute. I'd imagine the first day of school at a school like this one would be pretty hectic."
