The Wendigo (Mina Ashido x OC)

Chapter 5

While some teachers went down to All Might, who was still in the same position, the others went outside with the students and their two injured staff members, Thirteen and Eraserhead.

As soon as he got outside, Yushedo returned back to his normal state and sighed. Staying in his Wendigo form for over 30 minutes was bearable, but only just. He would have to work on that in the future.

"Tekato!"

Yushedo turned around to see Ashido running straight for him.

She's running really fast. A little too fast actually...Holy shit she isn't stoppi-

Like he predicted, she didn't stop. In fact, she almost tackled him to the ground as she embraced him into a bear hug. She wrapped him tightly, and after a few seconds, he hugged her back.

"I was so so so so so worried about you! After you saved me from getting sucked into that portal I thought were safe, but then another one cane and you threw me away and got sucked in! I thought you might've died. And then the portal guy came after the rest of us and Iida had to escape to go get the teachers! And during all that I saw you down there on the weird bird villains back and then I saw him grab you and throw you snd I though you died again! And then I watched you save Tsu and Midoriya and Mineta and Aizawa and start running up here! Don't ever do that again, you idiot!"

"Ashido, just breathe, ok? It's fine! We're fine. Everyone's gonna be fine. Calm down." He rubbed the middle of her back, not really paying any mind to it.

He was used to doing this to his little sister whenever she got too riled up about something. There was a surprising amount of things a 6 year olf could get upset about.

After a few more seconds, Ashido broke away from the hug but still held his arms as she gazed up at him.

"I didn't want to lose you. You're my Horn Buddy, Tekato."

Yushedo laughed softly.

"And you're my Horn Buddy, Ashido."

They smiled at each other, completely forgetting they were still holding each other. They both had the same thought.

I've gotta protect him/her, no matter what.

The Next Morning, 10:30
Due to the chaos the previous day, all classes had been canceled for the rest of the week at UA, giving the students and nice 4 day weekend that would be used to recover and recuperate.

Yushedo was currently in his backyard relaxing on a tubular floaty inside of the pool. He floated around aimlessly as he scrolled through his (waterproof) phone.

He was trying to decide what he'd be doing that day, considering he didn't have any work from school.

He zoned out for a while and thought before being pulled out of his trance. He looked at his vibrating phone and saw a text from a certain classmate.

Mina: Bambi! What's up?

Yushedo: Not much, how about you?

Mina: Same. Wyd?

Yushedo: Just floating in the pool. You?

Mina: Watching Tv, but pause. You have a pool?

Yushedo: (sends a selfie of him in the pool) Yup. Pretty relaxing if I say so myself.

Mina: Bambi, you have got to let me come over. I wanna get my swim on!

Yushedo: Your parents would be fine with you going to a teenage boy's house while he's home alone?

Mina: Yup! Why? Are you planning something fishy?
