Chapter 25

A.N. Ok so I actually have a valid reason for why this chapter took so long to get out. My English teacher decided to casually drop the fact that our class had a summer assignment a couple weeks ago. Problem is, I never got a single email or letter saying anything about it, so I've literally been working on that all week. Anyways, I finished it, so I banged out this chapter for you guys.

Also, we hit 3k reads! That shit is honestly amazing. This story alone has more reads than all of my other ones combined. I just wanted to thank those of you reading this. I never expected this to do so well.

Stepping back outside, Yushedo instantly felt an intense wave of heat overcome him. Some of it was from the fires caused by all of the chaos the Nomus had created, and some was coning from the Number Two Pro Hero himself, Endeavor. Wiping his brow, Yushedo followed after Thunderbird and Gran Torino as they both rushed towards a group of Heroes who had all been caught up in the fray.

The three of them reached the group of Heroes just as Endeavor finished taking incinerating another Nomu. Yushedo looked between Thunderbird and Gran Torino with shock and confusion.

"Due to the Nomu's insistence and dangerousness, any and all Heroes have been given the go ahead to dispose of them if absolutely necessary." The trio glanced over at the ashes of the Nomu to see Endeavor stomping his foot on it with an amused smirk. "Some of us are more excited than the others."

Yushedo nodded as he kept staring at the ashes.

"I can see that." He shook his head before looking up to Endeavor. "What happened to Todoroki? Wasn't he interning with you?"

Endeavor raised an eyebrow before turning and glaring at Yushedo.

"Hmm?" He grunted. "He is interning with me. He was right beside me when all of this happened, and then he up and left saying he had to be somewhere else." The Hellflame Quirk user's eyes widened slightly as he came to a realization. He turned to face the rest of the heroes. "That reminds me. Shoto gave me an address for where he'd be. An alley about a dozen blocks from here. He asked me to go there with a few others once we handled things here. Now I don't know what exactly he's doing, but frankly, I don't care. I'm heading there now, and the rest of you are coming with me."

The group nodded and verbally agreed. Thunderbird took a couple of steps back before morphing into his bird form. He stretched out his wings and groaned.

"Good heavens, I'm getting old." He admitted.

Yushedo chuckled as his legs morphed into Wendigo form, adding some height to his stature. The large group took only a few steps away in the direction Endeavor was leading them before hearing another screech behind them. They turned just in time to another Nomu land on the ground before them.

This one stood at maybe 7 feet. In addition to the customary exposed brain, it had tan skin and large, demonic-looking wings to match. It wore baggy blue cargo pants. It's feet were abnormal, looking similar to Thunderbirds with 3 talons in front and one at the back.

"Damn it!" Endeavor cursed as he began stalking forwards. "We don't have time for this! I need to get to Shoto!" Just as Endeavor was about pass him, Thunderbird held his wing out and stopped him from moving forward.

"Tekato and I will handle this." He said as he observed the winged Nomu. The rest of you go on, we'll rendezvous at the alley later." Endeavor thought it over for a few seconds before nodding.

"Fine. Deal with this thing and find us afterwards." Endeavor instructed. Thunderbird simply nodded as he and Yushedo both began walking towards the Nomu.

"Understood." He turned his head to face Gran Torino. "Be careful, Torino, old boy. Be sure not to throw your back on the way there." He joked. Torino chuckled.
