I arrived at my brother and sister-in-law's house. I called them ahead of time. I knocked on the door. My sister-in-law, Winter opened the door. "Mercy." She smiled and pulled me in for a hug. I hugged her back. "Come in." Winter moved out of the way so I could come inside. "Where's Chris?" I asked. "He's in the back. Probably working out." She answered.

"I'm gonna go scare him real quick." I crept towards the back where their gym was. I snuck inside. Chris was pumping iron. "Boo!" I roared. Chris jumped in the air and screamed like a little girl. I laughed as he growled. "Not funny." "Awe lighten up lil brother. It was a joke." I grinned. Chris rolled his eyes. "Now are you gonna be salty or are you gonna give me a hug?" Chris hugged me. "How are you feeling?" "I'm fine, just surprised. Didn't think I would end up pregnant at this age." "So you gotta feel me in on how you got this way." "As long as you promise not to lose control." "Name a time I did." "There was on Christmas day when Alec stole and broke your new toy." I said. "And there was Easter. Your Dad found all the eggs before you did." Winter added.

Chris grumbled. "Fine I promise." I told them everything. Chris' face changed from calm to furious and back to calm. When his face flickers from calm to furious, it's not a good sign. "Let me get this right, he started to flirt with you and you finally gave in after a few months. You found out you were pregnant yesterday and you planned on telling him today but you overheard him and some girl talking about their marriage. So you left?" I nodded. "Asshole." Chris muttered. "You can stay here as long as you need even after the baby is born." Winter said. "Thank you but when the baby is born, I'm not staying. I would've found me a new and nice apartment by then." I replied. "I understand but the offer still stands." "I'll take you up on it when I need it." Winter smiled a little. Chris slung his arm over my shoulder. "Don't worry big sis. We'll help you out whenever we can." Chris said. "Thank you." "That's what family is for."
