Aurora Butterfly-Diaz was given an assignment to choose a topic she can make a book about, and she chose the queens of Mewni. Aurora did research on all her ancestors who were queens before her. So this book is all about the past queens of Mewni.

Asteria was the second Star Queen. Her cheek marks are an inverted star, the opposite of her ancestor Estelaria. She has pink eyes and orange hair. She wore a pink dress with white long gloves. Her cheek marks were pink stars. Her wand had a pink hilt with a large golden rim that supports a pink crystal star in the center. The base tip is gold and pink wings on the sides.
