Aurora Butterfly-Diaz was given an assignment to choose a topic she can make a book about, and she chose the queens of Mewni. Aurora did research on all her ancestors who were queens before her. So this book is all about the past queens of Mewni.

Urania was the first Queen illustrated in Star's (my mother's) history book on Mewnipendence Day. Urania was born in a family of weavers. She lived along with her grandmother and her mother named Darlene. She was an independent child, and at the same time dreamy. On her 14th Birthday, she found her village being attacked by monsters, which ended with fire, where she lost her mother and grandmother. Her cheek marks gave the name of the family Butterfly.

Her wand is based on the simplicity of a fairy wand. Her name comes from Uranus and Urania (which is a Greek word for shy, heaven, and heavenly)
