Aurora Butterfly-Diaz was given an assignment to choose a topic she can make a book about, and she chose the queens of Mewni. Aurora did research on all her ancestors who were queens before her. So this book is all about the past queens of Mewni.

Eclipsa was a pale woman with red spades on her cheeks and she had red glowing eyes. She wore a Victorian-like black dress. Her wand resembled a parasol.
Eclipsa, Queen of Darkness was the first queen who used dark magic and is basically dark and evil. She ran away from Mewni and fell in love with a monster even though she was married.
