It was dark, they couldn't see anything and it seemed like they were trapped in an enclosed space, there's not even a slither of light in the area and that was making them panic. They fear what they don't know.

What is this place? They never experienced this because when they formed so suddenly in the middle of the farm, there was only warmth and comfort. A huge difference from what is taking place now. Thinking of the time they arrived, they were reminded of the other voice.

They need to find the beast. Maybe they could take control of the helm and stir them from the continuous darkness that only makes them anxious for they have no idea what is happening in the outside world.

But one thing's for sure.

Techno's in danger, as well as Quackity. They were in a jail cell, barely breathing from the punishments they took after spitting the poison out, who wouldn't be worried when that's the last thing they could recall.

"Hey, mutt? You there?!" They called out as they wandered aimlessly in the void that was once a field of potato crops and a small farmer shack by the hill. Their heartbeat rose when they heard no one respond to them, breath increasing in speed with their heartbeat.

They weren't oblivious enough to not notice the chilly breeze that roamed the land as well as the puff of smoke that left their lips and nose with every breath and speech. Arms coming to wrap around theirself as if it could bring them warmth.

"Furry boy! Where are you, dude?!" They screamed out in the dark, stumbling when they felt their feet get stuck on mud that tried to suck them in.

What is happening? They asked theirself once more as they struggle to leave the surface that tried to pull them in.

They let out a nervous chuckle. Surely Techno wouldn't surrender to the poison right? They're sure that the wolf wouldn't let it happen, they've heard them talk about how they swore to protect the man as well as his so-called fated mate.

Don't tell me he's just all talk with no bite.

They let out a grunt, "He-hey! I got you a memory with Y/N in it, come out it's not funny anymore!"

They gulped visibly at the silence that answered. That was their last straw.

That furry voice would always break, no matter how angry they are at Chat, they'll always respond when it's about Y/N, Techno's beloved.

As much as the word felt weird and sinful to say, it is what it is.

Maybe it's just a bad day? They thought, trying to comfort themself with their own lies. The complete darkness of the hangout bothers them though, there's no other explanation to the phenomenon other than Techno giving in to the effects of the poison.

Because normally, even when asleep, they would usually see the world of their own and the screen playing Techno's dreams or memories. But tonight it's all plain darkness that sent cold shocks down their spine.

So for a long time, they sat and waited for the light to finally come back. They dozed off after a long while and when they woke up with not a single change at all, they started to panic.

As if a century has passed with them surrounded by pure darkness, they finally found the wolf or rather, stumbled upon its paw and toppled over them which made the canine growl weakly at them.

They felt hope bloom in their chest when they were able to find the other voice, so they nudged the resting body on the cold floor and when it didn't do anything, they tried once more, again and again. Up to the point where they started to shake the body frantically. So they had to think of a different way, their eyes trailed up to the beast's head where fuzzy but fallen ears are at.
