It had been two years since they went on their separate ways. Two years might be a short time to some; but to these seven young men, two years felt like a decade. The amount of them yearning to see each other and the times when they kept on remembering of each other, almost no one could relate.
Never had they thought they could gather as one again after graduating from college.
Especially after Shin Wonho contacted his friends, telling them he would hold a union in a rented mansion and only seven of them. He also hoped his friends would agree to his idea of spending a week of holiday in the mansion, and they agreed later.
Wonho got thrilled. He packed his things four days earlier than the date confirmed. Likewise, as a ramen lover, he would not forget to bring two dozen of ramen to share with his friends (he hid somewhere four more packets in his luggage and they were for himself).
He kept himself updated about his friends every day before the plan, wanting to know if they were all well-prepared. Not to mention that he had a worrisome friend. He wondered if that friend had his things packed and ready; plus, he expected the friend would not end up on the bed and forgetting the union after work.
He did not want to see one of them cancelled on joining last minute.
Wonho even told himself to emotionally and mentally prepared as three of his friends were quite a hassle. One would unstoppably nag at the tiniest mistake (during their high school moments, Wonho used to think if this friend died as someone's mother-in-law nagging at her daughter-in-law in his past life).
Another one acted like a beagle. Almost no one could tame or follow the pace of energy of this one boy back then. He was the loudest among them all, and the one who always got scolded by the one who always nag.
And finally, the wild boy. The last time he remembered, this one boy was sitting down naked while playing a video game when they stayed overnight at the boy's house. Anyone would think he was a lost Tarzan just by the way he sat down with snacks and tins around him, a game console in his hand. Wonho was having a hard time to shrug the view off. Fortunately, he was not alone witnessing it, so he kind of crying together with Yoo Kihyun.
The least of his worries were Son Hyunwoo and Lee Jooheon. They were normal and not normal at the same time.
Hyunwoo cooked. But not all of his so-called delicacies were edible to the other six boys. The last time Wonho remembered, Hyunwoo mixed chopped fried chicken with marshmallow, rice and Nutella. Other ingredients remained a mystery. The boys did not find them delicious, though Hyunwoo (cheerfully) named it 'marshmallow bibimbap' and he loved it!
Jooheon, his favorite boy. He loooved babying him. To Wonho, he was a toddler in an adult's body. Wonho remembered he would sulk at smallest matter, not knowing that he would give him a better gift than others for Christmas. The smile and hug that Jooheon gave him, the adorable eye smile as he said "thank you, hyung!" to Wonho after he got his gift during their last Christmas together, was unforgettable. Wonho gave the younger boy his dream speaker, and it was not like he minded spending thousands of the local currency for that.
Although Lee Jooheon was not the youngest, his existence never ceased to make the group smile.
He let out a contented sigh after reminiscing about the good old days.
But for sure, those good, old days would be back, and the times he would go through in the next three days were going to return as the hell days once more.

Jooheon made sure the things (that were not his) arranged properly in luggage as listed and instructed on the yellow sticky note. The sticky note was over one piece, to be honest; written there was the list of things needed and where to put them.
Each sigh that left his mouth was because of the annoyance that grew up inside, finding things among the mess in someone's bedroom. He grumbled almost every minute, complaining to no one about how messy the room was.
The owner of the apartment was still working when he reached at the apartment. Thinking of how Chae Hyungwon would end up dozing off after work, Jooheon even complain about how his energy was no match with the real youngsters. Even a healthy elderly had more energy than Hyungwon.
He could not reject Hyungwon's request as the older already bribed him with food.
"I should've known he's up to something when he brought me to the five-star restaurant," Jooheon mumbled, expressing his feeling by forcing in a tortoise plushy into the grey luggage pouch.
After finishing his task as instructed, he zipped the bag and pushed it near a couch in the living room.
He sat down on the couch and slouching his back against the backrest. He then sighed, comparing the cleanliness between the living room and the bedroom.
"This place is much cleaner than the bedroom." He sighed. "If only Kihyun hyung sees it. Tch tch tch." He shook his head.
He didn't bother to leave the apartment, even though he had done his task. He needed more time to retrieve his energy after using them to find Hyungwon's things in the mess.
Then, his mind drew back to the past when they shared their times together. A thin smile drew on his face with a soft chuckle released as he remembered Changkyun whined for the first time. It was when they played truth or dare game, and the so-called macho boy dared. The older members dared him to confess to his crush. They knew he had a shy side, but he just didn't want to show it.
That was when the youngest of them all whined. That was also when they acknowledged Changkyun has a maknae trait in him. He just was not up to doing cutesy since he loved the attentions that the girls at school gave him when he acted cool.'
They all knew Changkyun was going through a phase and they thought it was okay.
It was only okay before Kihyun and Wonho witnessed the wild view...
As he had that thought, Jooheon wondered if any of them changed. Exclude Chae Hyungwon, by the way.
