Chapter 7

Collette POV

"yes sir" I take a bow to my master.

"You have 1 week" master dismisses me.

1 week to kill Neville Longbottom.

10 hours later neville POV

If you asked me how I ended up here I couldn't tell you. 1 moment I was in the great hall eating breakfast and the next I was in some dark room the only thing for miles is me and the chair I'm sitting on.

I was scared out of my mind I had no idea where I was and what was going on.

"HELLO!" I try and scream. I feel a hand on my shoulder.

I quickly turn around to see nothing there.

My hands were tied down to the chair and I had no idea how I was going to break out.

My heart starts to race. I hear foot steps behind me and I start shaking.

I see a dark figure appear in front of me. It was hard to make out who it was in the pitch black dark.

A small light flickers on and the dark figure becomes visible.

Someone dressed in all black with a grey mask on.

"Hello" the person speaks up.

Suddenly the sound clicks. I wasn't sure though because it has been a long time since I heard that voice.

"C-collette?" Like I said I'm not sure if that is her but I just wanted to check.

"Indeed Longbottom it is" she pulls away the mask to reveal herself.

"Your face...what happened" the scars scattered all across her face she was a lot more mature looking now. I wouldn't have recognized her if she didn't tell me.

She slaps me right across the face.
"You happened Longbottom" she steps away.

I feel tears swelling in my eyes because of the burning in my cheek.

"What do you mean I happened. I haven't seen you in 3 years."

She pulls something from her pocket making her sleeve lift up a bit to reveal her dark mark.

"Cole..." I almost felt like crying at how much she had changed. But I feel no remorse for a death eater that is trying to kill me.

"I don't go by Cole anymore Longbottom"

"Your a death eater? How did this happen?" I had so many questions.

"I don't feel like taking your questions right now."  She slowly walks over to me and pulls a pocket knife out of her sleeve.

"I have 1 week too kill you Longbottom and I intend on completing my task."

I the knife digging further into my skin. I really did not want to die. I had so much left to live for. All I could think about was Hannah.

"Stop thinking about Hannah Longbottom. She can't save you..no one can" she chuckles making me feel sick.

How did she even know I was thinking about Hannah.

"So your going to kill me..may I ask why?" I was scared to ask her questions but I wanted to know.

"Because you ruined my life"

But I didn't understand how I ruined her life.

"How?" I question.

"I trusted you. After....what happened with malfoy you were the person I trusted..the person I was in love with. Then you left me for Hannah. You simply just fell out of love with me. I don't think you know how bad that hurt me. But it doesn't matter anymore.."
She turns away from me slowly backing up.

Finally I understand why she left.

"Look Longbottom I would love to chit chat some more but I have a task to complete.

She flips open her pocket knife.

"WAIT WAIT WAIT" I yell out and she holts.

"We have to be able to work something out. I mean it's been 3 years can't we just forgive and forget"

My eyes meet hers for the first time in 3 years. I feel a spark course threw my body. I'm pretty sure she felt it too that's why she looked away so quickly.

"You know what Longbottom maybe you are right. Maybe I'll just torture you for a week then kill you on the last minute."

I feel the fear build back up inside me.

"No please collette I beg you please don't kill me." I plead for my life to the girl I once loved.

This next week was going to be crazy...
