The man was wearing a pleasant smile now and all of them were peeking at Ace, wondering if he could tell them the reason behind the man's smile. Ace sensed their confusion and told them in the link they shared, “Mystery and darkness are walking with him sides to sides. I'm not sure yet what's around his mind but he's amused now with something. Something that's unreadable and he's perfectly hiding it under his arcane ambience. I'll let you know when the aura around him changes.”
They all gave him a silent nod and focused on the muddy bumpy path towards the mountains. They were hiking now and were addled at this man's fuliginous smile. They came to a stop after half an hour of hiking and walking. The man tied his horse to a pine tree and gestured them towards a big mountain.
Hariz stepped forward and asked, “Where exactly are we?” with a frown hugging his face.
The man smiled and mumbled beneath his breath after shaking head at Hariz's question, “You're the key to my freedom. Finally the day has come.”
The rest heard his statement but just changed glances among themselves without mumbling a single word. The man stood in front of the mountain and chanted something. A big door was opened and the man stood in the doorway and motioned them to get inside. They all were standing still, waiting for Ace's clearance. Ace nodded, Flame stepped first and the rest followed.
They were met with hundreds of pairs of eyes and figures moving around. The place inside was lovely and men and women were talking to each other while it looked like a big palace like something. The view was fascinating and held a great beauty. Candles were burning and were the only source of light in the mountain. Sandalwood aroma was thick in the air and the people went silent after sensing the strangers in their area. It was clear, they were supernatural beings and were curiously peeking at the mysterious man. The man was smirking at them and they were gazing at the eight persons in the hall.
A girl's voice boomed in the hall as she spoke, “How come Mr. Asshole brought lowly humans into our land?”
The man rolled his eyes and mumbled in a mocking tone, “Holy shit, I didn't realize they are humans!” with a surprised face.
A beautiful dark green dress owner appeared among the standing people and she flared her nose at the man. The man ignored her and suddenly chattering started and Hariz and his fellows were silently observing the people. A man's authoritative voice bellowed in the hall and people started making way for this man.
“Teresa, I don't think this jerk will lead humans into our area. He's not stupid to do that.” The new man said and Teresa replied, “Well dad, he is a jerk and he did bring humans. If you don't believe me, check by yourself. He has broken our rule and he should be punished by our law!” with hatred tipping from her words and the man was smiling at them only.
Ace quickly mind linked his pals and told them to not let the new man touch him and Hariz as a human stepped in front of Ace to block anyone coming his way and the rest also blended into each other and no one was able to touch Ace. They did not know that besides Hariz all of the rest were more powerful than all of them.
