I was getting used to the strange particle thing as I entered the real world once again. I smiled every time I entered and left, but I was always ready for the next game. It would always be just me, and whoever the characters were in the game. I could escape into my own little world without anyone knowing.

"Whoa, Kairi…" I heard the voice behind me, making me freeze right where I was after putting the remote down. "How'd you do that?"

Crap.

"Hey Serah, how long have you been there?" I asked as she closed her book she was reading and approached me.

"Oh, not long, but long enough." She informed, walking past me and over to The System. "Holy crap, how'd you do that?"

"I don't know." I answered quickly, stepping between her and the invention. "It just… happened."

"What if I want to do that?" She asked, but I shook my head right after. "Or I'm gonna tell Nathan…"

"Serah." I growled, bending down to her eye level. "Stop it, okay? I'll bring you in but you can't tell Nathan, okay?" I pointed my fingers at both of us. "It'll be our little secret." She looked at me in disbelief, but I stuck out my pinky finger to shake. "Promise?"

She smiled evilly, and our pinkies shook. "Okay." And we released our fingers, but I still stood in front. "So, could we go there now?"

"Uh…" I stammered as she shoved me aside a little and examined it, strapping on the remote, and the screen lit up. She started touching random stuff, but I dragged her away from it. "Okay, two rules." I started, holding out my fist. "One, let me do the button pushing." I held out my index finger. "And two, don't get lost. That'd be havoc…" I muttered as I stuck out two fingers, strapped on a remote, and went back in the settings to put them right.

"Can you stand there?" I asked as she stood where the camera would be aimed. I put on the right settings and I stood still, holding Serah's wrist as the red horizontal line scanned us. She almost screamed, but stayed silent as it did. "Stop fidgeting." I ordered and she did, but I had to keep a hand over her mouth as we were getting pixilated, and we zoomed into whatever game was next in line.

I felt soft, weirdly. I was in a strange place with lively background, and music that was very calm and classical. I looked besides me and I see my sister, who's now the same height as me, but looked stitched and woven with a zipper going down the front of her. I looked down and I was the same, but we looked a lot like our human selves, but we weren't. We were Sackpeople. I knew which game this was.

Little Big Planet 2.

"We're in LBP!" Serah and I exclaimed in unison, taking off down the wooden path that led to a character made out of newspaper, or known as DaVinci. We were forced to stop as he talked gibberish to us, but I didn't care, I knew what I was doing. We continued our way, making it down the path and getting the blue dots known as score bubbles that racked up as we were going.

"Do you think Nathan's out there, looking for us?" Serah asked as we reached some bounce pads, but I shook my head.

"Nah, we're fine." I assured her as I jumped on them, bouncing around the room like an idiot as she joined me. Sure, we could do this when we played the game, but when we were in it- it was so much more exciting and fun. We were racking up prizes like no tomorrow, and DaVinci followed us every step, speaking gibberish we didn't bother to understand.

"We should play a mini game or something." Serah pointed out, and we both smiled. "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"

"Depends on what you're thinking." I replied smartly, but also seeing if it was the same.

"You know what I'm thinking!" She whined, and I burst out laughing.

"Yeah, we gotta go play Hedge Hopping." I smiled and she shrieked, and we ran through the level as fast as we could so we could get to the level. We exited back to the pod, which was a cardboard rocket ship that hung by some string that overlooked the woven Earth and Moon. We ran around it some, placing stickers on the pod and each other.

"Okay, okay." I said as I put all the stickers away and she placed some last-second. "Let's go play Hedge Hopping."

I took control as I selected the Story Mode on Earth and clicked the first section of the planet, selecting the mini game that was in the far corner of the world. I clicked on it and waited for it to load, and now we were going deeper into the game, a game we also weren't supposed to be in. But one look at my sister's smiling face made me really not care anymore.

We entered the level, popping out of the starting checkpoint and listening to more of DaVinci's gibberish. This level was starting to scare me though, because it was a survival. It didn't end until the last person died.

"Are you sure you want to do this, Serah?" I asked as she ran over to the platform that dropped us on the moving bouncing platforms. "I mean, we could die."

"No we couldn't." She shot at me, and started to drag me towards the platform. I slapped her off Little Big Planet style, sending her spiraling to our right.

"Serah, I don't know if Mom and Dad would've done that." I reasoned as she dragged me in, and soon the music stopped, and we fell onto the bounce pads, bouncing along with the dramatic music that played along.

"See? Isn't this fun?" She called at me about six bounce pads ahead of me, bouncing over some spikes and landing safely to the other bounce pads. This level itself was covered in bounce pads, the floor, some of the walls, it was just crazy. Layered with that is spikes, electricity and anything dangerous that would be in LBP.

"Yeah, this is fun alright." I muttered as Serah put on her smiley face, laughing and having much more fun then I seemed to be.

"You just gotta relax." She told me as she missed a bounce pad and fell right into the spikes, jumping up and falling down somewhere, disappearing.

"Serah!" I cried as I avoided what she got hit by, running through the level. Crap, she got killed. But she couldn't be dead, right? It was just a game, just a game, just a-

My thoughts were killed by the fire, and I incinerated, bringing me blackness for a second before jumping out of a checkpoint somewhere else.

"Man, that was fun!" I heard Serah's voice behind me as she started running towards the end level area. "Again, again!"

"Yeah, um, I don't think so. We both just got killed." I shot at her as we exited the level, returning to our stickered-out pod.

"Aw, come on! We proved you can't die in this game!" She whined but I shook my head, grabbing her wrist and hitting the eject button on my remote.

"Maybe some other time, but we gotta check in with Nathan, see if he's alright…" I told her as we pixilated, and we zoomed out of Little big Planet 2.
