*Y/N POV*
"Okay go and remember to have fun" my dad Tony Stark tells me as he opens the door. I gave him the 'I don't want to' look. "Look this really nice kid is out there waiting for you. Remember to be an actually normal kid, now go" he said sternly. "Fine" I groan.
The really nice kid, my dad is referring to is the one and only Flash. You see, I never really grew up with kids my age and when my dad met Peter he thought it was the perfect time to make me live a normal life and go to normal school as well. Peter told my dad that Flash asked me out to the dance and made me say yes. I know Peter did that shit on purpose.
"Oh my god, sweet you look amazing" Pepper, my mom, says gushing over my dress. "Thank you" I say with kind of a fake smile. "I know right now tell her to go because she is going to me late" my dad says. "Okay fine" I groaned. As soon as I walked in the door I saw Flash in his new telsa his dad brought him, with a stupid smirk on his face. I stare at him for about 2 seconds with the most blank face after. "Yea, no I can't do this" I say turning back around into the house. Flash's smirk dropped. Both my parents gave me the 'at least try' look. "Fine" I whispered to myself.
"But if he kisses me, its your fault" I whispered to my dad. He just patted my back and pushed me towards Flash's car. He opens the door for me and I got in. Maybe he is not going to be an asshole after all. "Now, Y/N/N, did you know that my dad had this car costume made just for me..." Flash starts to explain.
Wait, no I was wrong, he was going to be an asshole. I just looked at the window as he was explaining to me every single detail about himself on the way to the school. "Okay sweetcheeks, we here" he said excitedly. "Yea no don't call me that" I said getting out the car.
We walked in into our school gym and almost immediately Flash started to flirt with other girls. Which, I had no problem with, its just the fact that he left me alone at this thing knowing I didn't want to go in the first place. I just chilled near the snack table, drinking my punch. "Hey, mini stark" I heard. It turned out to be Peter Parker walking towards me. "Hey doffus" I said back.
He gets some punch and starts leaning on the same table im leaning on. Just watching our classmates have fun. "So, how you enjoying your first school dance with flash " he said kind of laughing drinking his punch. "The second we walked in here he ditched me and started flirting with some other girls" I said also laughing into my drink also.
"Damn, that sucks" he says. "Eh, it's fine. I honestly don't know if I could last the night with him anyways" I shrugged. "So how is your date" I said nodding towards Liz. "Its actually going pretty well" he says mostly trying to convince himself that.
I could tell he was lying because of the fact that Liz was dancing with another man. "She ditched you too, didn't she?" I ask. "Yep" he says popping the p. "Sorry bro, I know how much you like her" I said trying to sound as apologetic as I could get. "Its fine" he said dryly.
I then realized he was alone without his shadow, Ned standing right next to him. "Hey, where's Ned?" I asked. "Home sick" he says. "Jesus" I reply.
Then there was an awkward silence in between us. "So..." he started awkwardly. "Should you be with your friends. Like isn't MJ still here? You don't have to stay here and stand with your bosses daughter" I said. "First MJ hates dances, she left like 30 minutes ago and second I actually consider you a friend not just my bosses daughter" he said taking a sip of his drink.
I just smiled in response. There was a another moment of silence but it was more comfortable this time. "So, you want to get out of here?" He asked. "With what car?" I asked obviously wanting to leave to bad. "I can tell JARVIS to get us a cab" he said into the watch that my dad us.
In about 15 a cab was waiting for us at the front of the school. "Should we at least tell our dates were ditching?" Peter asked. I looked back at Flash and Liz. Liz was flirting with some football player while Flash was kissing some other girl. "Nah they busy" I said walking down the steps. "Where we gonna go spidey" I asked. "You hungry for pancakes?" He asked. "I'm always hungry for pancakes" I confirmed.
"To the nearest IHOP, my good sir" I told the taxi driver. He nodded in response. "Oh by the way this is not a date or whatever this is just to people who happen to know to each other hanging out" I explained as Peter opened the door of the cab for me. "Yes, we are friends, but at the end of the day, you're still my bosses daughter" he says leaning back in his seat. "So we are at an agreement" I say holding out my hand. "Agreed" he says shaking it.
Once we got there, we got seated almost right away since it was so late at night at that point. "You know, Flash is such an asshole for ditching such a beautiful date like you." He says casually eatting his pancakes. My cheeks automatically turn red and I don't know how to make it stop. "Well Liz is a dumbass for leaving you. You're amazing Peter" I said earning a smile from him.
We just have small talk while we lowkey flirted until my dad called. "Oh shit my dads calling and im hella late" I say in a panic. Peter had a scared look on his face knowing how he was going to get in trouble too being out this late while he has to be at the tower tomorrow for training. "Hey daddy!" I say trying to sound as innocent as possible.
"Y/N M/N STARK, WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU IT'S ONE AM" he screamed on the phone. I gave a worried look to Peter. "Dad, chill im with Peter" I said trying to sound hopeful. 'Why the hell did you bring me in it' he mouthed to me.
I giggled at his slight panic. "PETER WHY ARE YOU UP THIS LATE, YOU HAVE TO BE HERE AT 6 AM TOMORROW" he yelled through the phone at Peter. He cringed at himself, he hated being yelled at by Mr. Stark. "Both of you home now" Dad said strictly. "But Mr.Stark... I don't live with you" Peter said kind of nervous. "Kid, I said you and my daughter home now" he said more sternly.
"Okay okay were going to be there" I said hanging up. We left the money for our food and then tried to figure out a way to get back to my house faster. "No cab is coming out at this hour" I said nervous. "Want to swing?" He asked showing me his web shotters. "I rather walk the 15 miles" I said looking at him like he was crazy. "Come on. I can get us to the tower in like 10 minutes tops. I promise I will not drop you" He says holding out his hand for me to shake on it.
"You promise this is safe?" I questioned. "I promise" he said once again holding out his hand. I finally agreed to shake on it. "Okay, sweetheart now hold on tight" he said as he grabbed me by the waist.
Next thing I know his webs were connected to trees and houses as we was swinging through New York City. I am actually really afraid of heights but the city is beautiful at night. "You good?" He asked looking at me. I hummed in response. He could still pick up that I was scared. "Hey, I got you okay?" He said as he held me tighter.
"Okay get ready for landing next" he says and like five seconds later we were on the ground. When he landed I was still holding to to him. While I was still holding him tight he was picking the leaves out of my hair. "Okay all of the leaves should be gone" he said smiling. I smiled back at him.
He did something I never thought he would do. He leaned forward assuming that he wanted to kiss me. But I did something I never thought I would do and lean in into it. It was a short weird awkward peck. We both leaned back and laughed it off.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to-" he started as I cut him off with my lips crashing on his. This time with more passion. "Wow thats a nice way of telling me to shut up" he said blushing. He was leaning forward again but then we was interupted by my father.
"Parker, you better not have just kissed my daughter" my dad said. Peters hands dropped off me so fast. "Okay, this is my sign to leave, by Y/N" He said then planted a kiss of my cheek which obviously caused me to blush. "Did the kid just kiss you with me right here?" My dad asked. I ignored his questions and just walked in the building.
The rest of the night was filled with my dad asking questions about what happened in between me and Peter.
