While Callie waited for the photos to load fully onto her laptop, she went on her phone and laid back. She scrolled through countless social media apps, not satisfied with anything she was seeing.

She put her phone down and stared at her ceiling. She was contemplating things with her old best friend. She left without telling her where she was going. Lillie knew why she was leaving, but was never told where she was going.

She glanced at her laptop, seeing all the photos were now there and safely disconnected her memory card. She placed it back in her camera and deleted the photos that way. She then put all the photos into an album based on the dates they were taken. Once that was finished, she closed her laptop and changed into a swimsuit and went to the pool out back.

Swimming had always helped her. While she was out there, her parents had come out and told her they were going to dinner. She was free to join them, but politely declined. She just wanted to relax for a bit before going to bed.

She got out of the pool and dried off before going inside. She was hungry so she went to the kitchen. She looked in the fridge and cabinets, but they were bare besides yogurt and water. She frowned slightly.

She went back to her room and got dressed in regular clothes and grabbed her phone. She remembered what Jayden had said. She walked out the door and over to his house. She knocked quietly on the front door, secretly hoping he was home.

Jayden heard the soft knock and checked the doorbell camera. He chuckled to himself and went to open the door. "Well hello there."

Callie looked up as he opened the door. "Uh hi.. I normally wouldn't bother you but my parents left with the car for dinner and we have no food at our house.." her voice trailed off.

"No bother, promise. I wasn't doing much anyways. Would you like a ride to town or something?" He raised an eyebrow with his question.

"I mean if it isn't any trouble.." her voice was still soft and quiet.

"Or, you can come inside. There's food here." He smiles slightly.

"I really don't want to bother you.. so you can just drive me to town and I can find my parents..." she looked away from him. She barely knew Jayden, but she felt peaceful around him. He was definitely different from Liam.

"Hey, you're not bothering me.. come in.." Jayden opens the door a little more so she can walk in. Callie looks at him and slowly walks inside the house.

Callie looked around the entryway in utter amazement. It was absolutely gorgeous. "Wow.." she spoke quietly. Jayden closes the door behind her and chuckles softly.

"I know, its kind of a lot of house for just me and my parents but.. it works. It gives us space from one another. Come on." He walks towards the kitchen, glancing behind him to make sure she follows. Callie watches him for a moment before following him to the kitchen.

Jayden opens the fridge and pulls out some stuff and starts cooking. While he cooks, Callie leans against the kitchen island watching him. Jayden continues cooking, and once it's done grabs two plates then some champagne and orange juice.

"What's that for..?" Callie questions. She had never been much of a drinker, but after her break-up with Liam, she started drinking more. It helped her sleep and kept the thoughts of what had happened at bay.

"Mimosa's." Jayden replied, plating the food and making each of them a drink. "You just mix the champagne and orange juice together. They're pretty good." He sits a plate in front of her with a fork and a glass.

Callie smiles slightly and starts eating slowly. "Thank you.." Jayden nods and eats as well. They both finish eating around the same time, as Callie takes a sip from the drink he made. She was impressed that it tasted good. Within minutes she had finished her drink.

"So, what do you think of the drink?" Jayden asks as he washes the plates and forks they used.

Callie giggles softly, "It was pretty good. I'm not really a big drinker, or well I didn't used to be.. but shit happens right?" She fidgets with her hands slightly.

Jayden finishes up the dishes and looks at her, actually taking in he appearance more. She was absolutely stunning and the outfit she was wearing, short shorts with a tank top with what he assumed was a bikini on under definitely made her more gorgeous.

"Wanna go sit by the pool..?" He asked, watching her.

"Lead the way.." Her voice was quiet and reserved, but the look in her eyes was a different story. She was already feeling the alcohol. Jayden chuckled and without thinking, took her by the hand and led her out back to the pool.

"I'll be right back." He gives her a smile, lets go of her hand and goes back inside.  While he's inside, Callie takes off her tank top. shorts, and flip flops and sits on the edge of the pool.

Jayden gets changed into swim trunks and grabs a couple of towels and comes back out. He stops at the back door when he sees her sitting on the pool edge and watches her for a moment. He sets the towels down on a chair and walks over and sits beside her.
