It happened yoooooooo chapter ten baby!
Also, this chapter is foreshadowing ANOTHER fanfic, which will most likely be like a sequel to this one.
My eyes were heavy as I slid out of bed. They let me out of the hospital a few hours after Abigail left, but none of the boys would let me go home right after. Even after I reminded them countless times that the Cals would be there, Josh specifically was the one who insisted that I stayed with them at the Sidemen house.
"Harry, this is bad," Josh sighed when he walked into the room. He gestured to the cast on my hand. "I know you didn't like her very much when I first introduced you to her, but me and the boys all agree that you should see Abigail again."
I cringed. Despite our talk at the hospital, I didn't get to properly apologize for the things I said to her during lunch that day. Ethan had stayed in touch with her since then, but I refrained from asking because I didn't want to seem like a loser.
Sue me for wanting to keep my dignity.
"She's coming over today," Josh finally said after a few minutes of silence. My eyes snapped up to meet his.
"What? Why?"
"Simon invited her over," He shrugged, scratching his beard. "Tobi and Ethan will be here shortly as well, so get up and come downstairs. You've been in that bed forever."
Of course Simon was the one to invite her over. He talked nonstop about their calls and texts, which is exactly why I distanced myself in the guest room to begin with. I didn't want to hear it.
Attention whore.
What the fuck? Just leave me alone, you've already messed up my hand.
You did that yourself.
"Fine," I scoffed, rubbing my face in my cast-less hand as Josh gave me a nod.
"Good," He hummed. "She's bringing a friend, apparently. She wanted to introduce you two."
I groaned. "Oh come on. Can't I just get some rest like the doctor said?"
"Harry, she seems nice, based on what Abby said," Josh stated. "They met a few years ago, around the same time as Ethan did but she moved away—"
"I'm bored, Josh, get out," I scoffed, not meaning to be rude but also not feeling sorry when I was. "I'll be down in a few minutes."
He sighed. "You better, otherwise I'll have JJ throw you down the stairs."
"I can take him."
He chuckled, because even though I'd been going to the gym before my breakup, JJ was more trained than I was. I could only do so much against him.
"It's going to be a fun day, don't worry," Josh assured me. I hummed as a response, not wanting to say something I'd regret.
As he walked out of the room, I stood and lazily got dressed, not even bothering to try to look good. I opened my door and padded my way downstairs, freezing when I realized that Abigail and her friend had already arrived.
"Harry! There's the hunk I've heard so much about!" Abigail's friend waved at me with a grin on her face, but Abigail elbowed her in the side and she yelped.
"I'm sorry Harry," Abigail smiled sweetly at me, making my face turn red before I could control it. "I warned Ethan and Simon that Victoria here is the world's biggest flirt."
Victoria laughed, running a hand through her shoulder-length, wavy blonde hair. She winked at me. "True! Of course, I know who's off limits and who's not."
