I rushed home, hoping to make it on time, knowing I'll be late. By the time I got home, I was a little scared to step inside. I have no idea what time it is right now. cracked the door open-

I peeked inside the place I call home. It was slightly dark inside, but that was probably just because i've been outside for a while. I walked all the way inside the house, closing the door behind me. I stayed close by the door not wanting to take a step further. C'MON!!! MOVE!! IT'LL BE FINEE! The voice half screeched. You're being to loud... For you maybe. Nobody else can hear you... The voice had no response. That's what I thought. Yes, it is what you thought. Now please just- MOVE!!!

I slightly shifted to the left hitting the edge of a table, almost knocking over a vase, although I did catch it before it fell. "Izuku? Is that you?" I heard my mom ask from the other room. I wasn't sure how to respond, mostly confused as to what I should say and what I should do. "Uh- uhm Y-yeah?" I responded, in a questioning tone. 

"Are you sure?" She asked jokingly, chuckling a little afterwards. I could hear her footsteps approach and I sighed in relief now i'm sure she wasn't mad at me for being a little late. I saw her by the kitchen door frame waving at me. "Dinner will be ready sometime soon, why don't you go wash up while I set the table?" She said before walking off.

I put the vase back where it was supposed to be, then walked to the bathroom to wash up. (a/n: If you are wondering why I am only now referring to it as a bathroom, that is because it is not a bathroom unless there is a bath ;-; ik that isn't a real reason but I felt weird calling it a bathroom because it had no bath-) When I finished washing, I went to my room and checked my phone.

I sighed knowing that there wasn't anything too important. I set my phone down and walked to the kitchen where my mom had begun to dish out the food.
