Chapter 24

One week later, Danny is hanging out with Riley and Eli in Eli's bedroom with Danny and Riley playing Uno on Eli's bed while Eli was on the computer.

"Wildcard," said Riley placing a wild on the stack of Uno cards

"Oh, c'mon!" said Danny

"I pick red," Riley made a cocky smirk.

"Red? Why red? you didn't have red for about seven turns?"

"Maybe I do or maybe I don't Danny,"

"So you're playing mind games huh well I got something for you," Danny placed a plus-four card causing her face to turn from cocky to shock.

"What the heck a plus-four?"

"Yep I pick yellow," Riley draws four cards, and Danny places his final Uno card on the pile. "I won,"

"Damn I thought I had you this time,"

"Yeah I became quite good at Uno over the past year or two,"

Riley turns to Eli on his computer "so are you going to play Eli or not?"

"Nope I got something we can do," Eli shows Danny and Eli a movie trailer for a film called "Werewolf of Riverside."

"So you want us to go to the movie theater?"

"Yeah, they're playing it in fifty minutes and the theater is not far from my apartment,"

"Okay I got money for a movie and some snacks. What about you Danny?"

"You I guess I could go," said Danny

"Wait, you have regular money?" said Eli

"Yeah why you ask?"

"I just thought you would just phase into a movie theater anytime you want,"

"I do that sometimes if I get bored,"

"Anyway I'll tell my parent real quick on my phone that Riley and I are going to the movie theater and Danny you could meet us in your human form,"

"Sounds like a plan,"

"Yeah I'm up for it," said Riley

"Great I've been dying to see this movie no offense, Danny,"

"None taken,"

"So what is this movie about Eli?" said Riley

"It quick simple a guy gets bitten by a werewolf and he starts to hunt down other monsters that are in his town terrorizing it and the movie stars Davey Brown,"

"You mean the actor who was in that crappy sports movie last summer?"

"Yeah, but I got a good feeling this movie is going to be good,"

"I hope so because I don't want to sit through another crappy movie,"

Later Danny was in the movie lobby waiting for Riley and Eli getting their snack. Danny was wearing a red letterman jacket, black shirt, grey hoodie, blue jeans, white socks, and white shoes. Danny holds a bottle of soda and then sips it until someone bumps into him. Danny turns around to see a girl about his age. She has blonde hair and blue eyes; the girl wore a white t-shirt, tan shorts, grey socks, and blue and red shoes. The girl is holding a large bowl of popcorn and turns to Danny.

"Oh I'm sorry I was lost I'm my own thoughts," said the girl

"Don't worry sometimes I get lost in my own thoughts from time to time," said Danny.

The girl laughs a little "so what are you going to see?"

"This movie call Werewolf of Riverside,"

"Ah, I heard from a good friend of mine that movie is a mixed bag,"

"Hm, well my friend wants to see this movie and I have nothing better to do. So what movie are you going to see but if you don't mind me asking what's your name?"

"Kara Kent, your name?"

"Danny Fenton,"

"Well, Danny I'm going to see Chocolate on the peach avenue,"

"Never heard of that movie,"

"Yeah it's a coming of age/romantic with a boy trying to find the girl who gave him chocolate on valentine day,"

"Ah sounds very pleasant,"

"Yep I'm here in the theater with my cousin,"

Then Riley and Eli come up to Danny with their movie tickets and some candy.

"Hey Danny we have to get to our seats I want to check out the previews," said Eli

"These are your friends?" said Kara

"Yep it's my time to go," said Danny

"Hold up," Kara put the popcorn on the counter and pulls out a small piece of paper, and a pen writes down a phone number and hands it to Danny "it's my number if you want to hang out sometimes,"

Eli whistle but Riley punch Eli in the shoulder "ouch what I do,"

"I'll keep the number around," said Danny putting Kara phone number into his pocket "talk to you later,"

"See ya," Kara grabs her popcorn and was about to head to her screen, but she looks back at Danny, who is walking with Eli and Riley, for a quick moment and thought, "he kinda look like Dick or someone else I know,"

Later that night, in the ghost zone, Danny is playing fetch with Cujo, and Dani comes to Danny.

Danny throws a red ball in the distance, and Cujo chases after it, and Danny turns his attention to Dani.

"Hey Dani, how's it going?" said Danny

"Fine, but can I ask you something? Said, Dani

"Sure,"

"Yeah you say I can go with you to that other dimension right?"

"uh-huh ," then Cujo brings the ball back to Danny, and he pats Cujo on the head.

"Can we do that tomorrow?"

"Sure why not,"

"Really?" Dani getting excited

"Yeah but we have to make a few ground rules,"

"Oh c'mon Danny I can take care of myself,"

"I know that but the other dimension can be quite dangerous I don't want anything bad happen to you,"

"Alright, what are the rules?"

"One stick next to me, two if you see something that going down tell me so that we can handle it together, and third try not get overwhelm,"

"Please I seen things in this ghost zone would make ordinary person shake in fear I could handle it,"

"Okay,"

"But what if someone asks about our relationship because it'll be weird if I tell people that I'm kinda your daughter,"

"Well let's just tell people we're brother and sister,"

"I'm cool with that,"

"Great," Danny throws the ball in the distance again, and Cujo chases after it.

"Awesome can't wait to see what's the other dimension is like,"
