Chapter 28

In the afternoon, Danny was in his room getting ready to hang out with Kara and her friends in Metropolis. Dani walked in to see him putting on a black jacket.

"So getting ready for your date?" Dani tease

Danny blushes a little "no I'm just hanging out with her friend."

"Sure."

"Besides, Supergirl is way out of my league and probably doesn't want to deal with my issues."

"Danny, if someone likes you they can try to help you with what you're going through."

"Where did you learn about that?"

"Some Disney movie."

"Ah,"

"But hey have some fun out there you deserve my kingships."

"Ha thanks, Dani." Danny walks and playfully ruffles Dani's hair. He looked at his watch "whelp I gotta go."

"See you later Danny."

"Bye Dani."

Danny makes a ghost portal and heads off to Metropolis to see Kara and her friends.

At Metropolis, Kara, Dick, and Barbara waited for Kara's friend outside of Sweet Justice.

"So where is your friend Kara?" said Dick

"He says he's coming," said Kara

"Did you give him the right address?" said Barabara

"I'm sure Barab," then Kara looks at her phone to see that Danny texted her.

"I'm just around the corner."

"He's here."

The three look to see Danny come around the corner. He sees them and walks over to them.

"Hey Kara," said Danny

"Hey Danny these are my friends Dick and Barabara," said Kara

"Hello nice to meet you guys."

Dick and Barabara were taken aback by Kara's new friend for different reasons.

"Wait, this same guy I helped out in Gotham? Why is he here in Metropolis?" Dick thought

"He almost looked like Dick," Barabara

"Um guys?" said Kara

The two notice that they have been staring at Danny, making him feel awkward.

"Sorry about that nice meet you too Danny," said Barabara

"Yeah sorry," said Dick

"Hey no problem," said Danny, who then thought, "that was weird."

"Anyway let's go inside," said Kara

The four head into the ice cream shop; they sit at the booth near the window.

"So Danny, how long have you been in Metropolis?" said Barabara

"For a couple of months," said Danny

"Anything you like about the city?" said Dick

"I like the people way better than my hometown,"

"Where's that?"

"Chicago."

"Ah, the windy city,"

"Anyway, how did you and Kara meet?" said Barabara

"At the movie theater hanging out with some of my friends."

"I think that enough for the question you guys let's just hangout," said Kara

The conversation turned from questioning Danny to just hanging out and having fun at the ice cream shop. In the middle of eating ice cream, Danny had to use the bathroom.

"Hey Kara noticed something weird about Danny?" said Barabara

"That he's eyes are icy blue," said Kara

"That and he looks a lot like Dick."

"I wouldn't say a lot," said Dick

"You kidding me Dick you and Danny look like you guys could be brothers how similar you guys look."

"I did notice the similarity when I first meet him," said Kara

"See."

"Okay this is going to bug me," Dick thought.

Meanwhile, Danny was in the bathroom washing his hand until his phone buzzed. He looks to see an unknown number, and he answers it.

"Hello?" said Danny

The caller hangs up

"Strange?"

Danny puts away his phone and goes back to hanging out with Kara's friend. In the end, Dick and Barabara had to leave Kara and Danny alone in the ice cream shop.

"What do you think of Dick and Barabara Danny?" said Kara

"I think they're cool and nice," said Danny

"They are."

"So what do you want to do now?"

"No idea?"

"Do you want to get out here? I don't mind strolling in the park."

"Sure."

Danny and Kara left Sweet Justice and headed into Metropolis park and walked around the park until they stopped and sat down at the park bench.

"I had a good time Kara," said Danny

"Me too Danny," said Kara

"I don't mind if we hang out some more."

Kara blushed "like a date?"

"N-no I mean like friends." Danny blushed as well. "I'm not ready to go out on a date." he thought.

"Oh then yeah we can definitely hangout." Kara then thought, "why did I say like a date?"

"Alright well I have to go, do you want me to walk you home?"

"No I'm good,"

"Got it, see ya Kara."

"Bye Danny."

Danny walked away from Kara and turned into his ghost form; he was about to go home until his phone buzzed again, and he answered it.

"Hello?" said Danny

"Hey Danny this is Constantine," said the caller

"How did you get my number?"

"I have my ways."

"That doesn't sound creepy at all."

"Listen, I need your help."

"With what?"

"A bit of a supernatural problem that involves some ghosts."

"Fine I'll help with your problem."

"Fine with me because this problem is a head case."
