The Relationship That Can Never Be

Chapter 1:

"Kate we need to go out tonight, you need to get off this couch you need to forget him, he wants someone else, come on it's ladies night at the bar we can get in free" Chelsea says as she tries to encourage Kate to get up.

" There is nothing to do, I don't feel like doing anything but laying on the couch!" Kate exclaimed

"You just turned 21 not long ago and there is a bar down the street that is popular, we should go and give it a try. Have you even bought alcohol yet? Since your legally allowed to now. " Chelsea asked

" No, I haven't." Kate said then

Chelsea quickly responded
" We're going to the bar you meeting someone there and you are going to have fun! No ifs ands or buts about it your going no matter what! "

" How do you know I'm going to meet someone, I am just getting out of a bad relationship, I don't want to rush into anything, but I will go so you will stop bothering me about it " Kate said trying to get Chelsea to stop bugging her

" Thank you, thank you, thank you so much! We really need this night together, you need it more than i ". Chelsea said enthusiast

"What should I wear? I don't go to bars." Kate said puzzled.

" We can dress similar I am wearing jeans, and a T-shirt, you can wear these jeans and this crop top" Chelsea said handing her the outfit she picked out.

Kate put on the outfit Chelsea had picked out. She is wearing a pair of light colored skinny jeans with a hole right above the knee on the left leg and frayed on the thigh on the right leg, the crop top is solid white and it hangs off of one of her shoulders and shows off her dangling belly ring.
She puts on her makeup like she normally does and leaves her hair down.

At The Bar:

Hey what are you looking at?
Your not acting like yourself are you still thinking about Caleb" Chelsea asked.

"Nothing is wrong with me but yeah I am thinking about him, even when I shouldn't be.. she pauses maybe I should go get a couple drinks to take the edge off." Kate said

" You should and see that guy over there to the far right at the bar, his name is Brandon and he's single,nice, good-looking. He is a good guy I have Snapchated him a couple times. You should talk to him while your up there" Chelsea said pointing to the guy she knows and thinks would be in Kate's best interest.

" I will talk to him if he talks to me but i doubt he will notice me. Do I even look good enough to go talk to him? Do you think he will talk to me? " I responded.

"Yes he will talk to you! Your look good! Go ahead and have some fun."

"Wait wait Kate come here" commanded Chelsea in a panicky way

"What is it?" I replied walking towards her again

"Your hair, there's this one little piece,
As she said fixing the piece of hair that was sticking up in the back that probably wouldn't have been noticed since Kate did have curly hair.

"there you good luck i'll be right here for when you get back"

"Okay, thank you so much for doing this, taking me out to have fun , but don't leave me here at this bar alone " I tell her

"Your welcome kate I'm your best friend that's not going to change i would do anything for you, and don't worry about me leaving you i I promise I won't " said Chelsea calmly she knows that Kate was getting nervous
