The Relationship That Can Never Be

Chapter 3: The Drinks

"Hey bartender" Brandon yelled to get his attention from down the bar

"Yes, what can I get for you?" the bartender responded quickly to serve us

"We'll for me the normal, but for the pretty lady I would like to order her red bull and vodka, and you can put it all on my tab as well I" Brandon told the bartender

"Okay sir will that be all that you are having tonight?" questioned the bartender

"We'll it will be all for now but I don't know about tonight it's all up to the women considering it is ladies night here at the bar and that women are always right!" he said playfully.

"Oh so we are always right, I've never heard a man admit it" said Kate trying to flirt a little but not to hard

"You know that's just a myth, men say that to please the women" Brandon said back to Kate

"Here is your drink señor the Bud light , and here is your drink señorita red bull and vodka,
I hope you two enjoy your evening!" the bartender added before walking away.

"Wow this is good, I didn't think this would taste like this" exclaimed Kate

"We'll I have another drink for you when you finish that , do you like white grapefruit juice?" asked Brandon

"As a matter of fact I do!"

"We'll that's great Antonio over here will make you the best you a salty dog, unless you would like a piña colada first? They are good too! "

"Surprise me"

"Ill just get you both" Brandon said

They both were having a good time drinking and getting to know each other better. He had 3 beer and she drank all her drinks, the red bull and vodka, salty dog and the piña colada. And wanted to dance a little bit. There weren't any slow songs so it was only bump and grind from there. She was a drunk and feeling herself so she was all up on Brandon dancing like she was in the club.

She thought to herself I would like to go home with him but not on the first 'date' if this was even a date and you can tell he's thinking the same thing because the way he's dancing on me and letting me dance all on him.

After they were tired of dancing he asked
" Do you want me to take you home? I haven't seen Chelsea anywhere in a while. I can take you back to my place and we can have some more fun!"

"You can't drive either you've been drinking. Chelsea is here somewhere to take me home, but thank you I just don't want to go home with someone on the first date just yet. I appreciate the offer because I would let you take me to your house " Kates drunk response

"We'll I had fun with you tonight I hope I get to see you again Kate" Brandon said giving kate a kiss on the cheek and handing her a napkin with his number on it.

"Oh thank you, ill see you later i had fun also." said Kate.

About that time Chelsea comes rushing up
"Kate... oh there you are, let me take you home I was looking for you, I took my eyes off of you for one second and you had left, I thought you went home with him.." Chelsea said worried while fumbling around for her keys

Chelsea drove Kate home.
She lived alone in an apartment number 42B. Chelsea was a good friend to Kate so she walked her in made sure, she was good and wasn't going anywhere else that night and tucked her in bed and locked the front door when she left.
