The Relationship That Can Never Be

Chapter 5: Getting Ready

Kate arrived at home around 11ish  it took her a little while to find the right outfit and still had to get a shower, do her hair and makeup.
She shuffled through her closet and found some wedges that she hasn't worn since high school graduation night and decided to match them up with her dress and put them both the dress and the shoes on the end of her bed.
She also grabbed a long necklace and her gold bracelet her nanny had gave her for good luck am placed them on the top of the wooden dresser in her room and opened the drawer that was to her left and grabbed a pair of black and tan lace underwear.

"Any other pair of underwear would show through this new dress of mine since its tight" she thought not trying to put her self out there or anything. She opened the drawer to her right and got out a comfortable looking push up bra and took the underwear and the bra to the bathroom to put on after her shower.

After the shower she got dressed. She put her her bra on making sure her boobs look good and then her underwear on. All of a sudden she heard 3 knocks at the door. She had no clue  she would have any visitors at her apartment this early. She grabbed her robe from the back of the bathroom door and went to the peep hole of her front door. No one was there.

She opened the door just being curious to see if anyone had went down the hall and found a note that said
" BETTER WATCH OUT" in capital letters on the front and on the back said
" I will be watching and you will get hurt if you don't listen to what I have told you."

This clearly was some kind of joke what was that even suppose to mean, it wasn't suppose to go to me. Whoever dropped it put it at the wrong door. She  thought nothing of it and threw it away in the trash can in the kitchen before going to her room again to finish getting ready.

She slid her dress on and loved the way it fit her, and put her shoes on then  her makeup on and curled her hair a little so it can have more volume.
It was almost 12 she was going to be late if she doesn't hurry.

Looking in the mirror she said" I think I look good, I'm ready to go eat free Chinese food"  she grabbed the keys to her car and locked her door and left to go to the Chinese place.
