Chapter 2: Nightmares

*Tiny bits of blood in this chapter, nothing serious but if you are sensitive to this kind of stuff you can skip that part of the chapter*

"Luz!" I yelled, Luz was fighting Emperor Belos with everything she had. But she was still losing. Emperor Belos was dodging her every move.

She used her fire glyph. It didn't work. She used her plant glyph. That didn't work either. She tried her light glyph to blind him, didn't work. She was starting to lose hope. Why couldn't I help? Because I was trapped in a little ball, floating high up in the air. So high that I would die if it popped.

Eda, Gus, Willow and Lilith were unconscious It pained me to see all my friends getting hurt, and it angered me even more when I saw Luz getting thrown to the side of the bridge, hanging off the ledge of the bridge.

"I need to get out!," I thought, "But how?" I noticed that the bubble seemed to be made of some sort of meltable material. "But, if I fall- nevermind that, I'll just create something for a soft landing," I created a small pink fire in my palm & put it near the surface of the bubble. Luz was running out if time.

"One," Emperor Belos stepped closer to Luz

The flame grew, I needed to melt the bubble fast.

"Two,"

"Please, no, no no no," I was crying by now, no- sobbing, she was going to fall. And I wouldn't be able to save her.

"Three!" Emperor Belos kicked Luz off the bridge

"NO!" I screamed.

It all happened so fast, the bubble popped, Luz fell, & without hesitating, I thrust out my arm, and had an abomination grew. It jumped off the bridge. I didn't know if it was somehow stuck of the bridge from the bottom, but I couldn't see anything. If it caught her, I didn't know. I thought Luz died. My eyesight became blurry, everything was red.

"You- you MONSTER!" I lunged at Emperor Belos, I kept hitting him with spells and everything, but I still was keeping my focus on the abomination which I had sent to help Luz, even if it was very little, I still had hope*

(*Hehe- can you spot the reference? First one to get it right gets... um, food!)

Eventually, I was at the ledge of the bridge.

"Bye bye, princess-," as he was about to kick her off the bridge, Emperor Belos suddenly became very still. I saw golden liquid dripping on the floor.

*Minor blood warning*

I looked up, & there was Emperor Belos, with an icicle with thorn vines, plunged through his stomach, the golden liquid which was dripping on the floor, was blood. I was dripping everywhere. Emperor- no, Belos, started coughing up blood, even with the mask on, it just felt so, gross

I felt sick, but, now is not the time, I needed to see who saved me. I looked behind Belos & saw

"Luz!" I got up immediately & ran towards her, I started to cry big, huge, tears. She was alive, she really was alive! "Don't ever scare me like that again," 

"Hey! Stop crying, it's marking me feel bad, but anyways, we need to get Eda, Willow, Gus, & Lilith to the infirmary." said Luz, she was already heading over to the four unconscious witches.

"Wait!" I yelled, "What about Belos? He might escape!"  I said. If he escaped, then all of this would be for nothing

"I'm not sure... if he's even alive," Luz said

"I guess you have a point, but I'll check just in case," Amity walked to Belos, he was as still as a statue. Amity checked to see if he was breathing and-

"Oh hello Amity Blight," Belos looked at Amity & pushed her off the bridge

A/N: Yall hate me, don't you. Well don't worry, the TITLE of the chapter will re- assure you. Because like, this is a Lumity fanfic, how can it be a Lumity fanfic if the 'mity' in Lumity is dead. Anyways, sorry it took so long to update. It takes a while for me to write fight scenes sooooo yeah, see you guys next chapter!
