"(L/n) (Y/n). I have to speak with you."
"We're using whole names now Todoroki...?" You questioned continuing to eat your rice ball still hurt from what he said. "(L/n). I mean." "I'm not sure if that's better or worse." "(Y/n)-" "Don't use my first name, you don't deserve to be informal with me." He rolled his eyes in annoyance. "What is it you want, Todoroki...?" He sat down beside you on the ground, which made you scoot away. "I'm sorry." "That's funny." "I truly am."
You stood up, "I don't wanna hear it." Todoroki got up, "(Y-" You glared back at him. "(L/n). Do you wanna know why I said that...?" "No. Now leave me alone." He followed quickly behind you. "I only said that because I wanted to see your fullest potential during the Sport's Festival." You turned towards him, "So why are you telling me now. We still have a round to go!" He slowly reached for your hand. "Because I don't wanna hurt someone... I truly have feelings for."
You scoffed, "Feelings? I doubt that. Not even a week ago you were talking to me about how you don't know these feelings. Are you sure you're not just feeding off of my attention? Todoroki, just be straightforward with me. What are your true intentions." He looked at the ground. "I like-" "No you don't. I don't think you'd tell someone who you like that they're weak. You'd wanna encourage them to do their best." You wiped your eyes feeling like you were going to cry. "I'm leaving. Don't refer to me as a friend after this Todoroki."
Walking away into the hall, Todoroki stayed, staring at the ground. His heart hurting. 'I don't know how to describe this feeling... I feel... like my heart's been ripped out.' He walked the opposite direction from where you went.
-
Your mind was full of thoughts as you walked through the halls. A tear fell down your cheek. 'Oh no. Please tell me I'm not crying.' You started feeling more tears. 'I don't know why I'm crying. It's just a stupid crush. He probably didn't even like me. Boys that look like that always mess around. It wasn't a mutual feeling.' You wiped your eye. 'Or maybe I'm wrong. He probably wanted to help me, and I just ruined my chances of finding someone who really loved me.'
A small sniffle came out, those sniffles turned into small quiet crying. 'Maybe everyone has the same mindset. Kirishima probably thinks the same. He only wants to use me to get the title of being a nice guy-' Being stopped from more overthinking you walked into someone's chest. "Watch where you're going stupid id- (Y/n)? What are you doing here crying like a weak little girl." You looked up and started to cry even more. 'See he even thinks that. I'm weak just like Todoroki said. I didn't even involve in the Calvary Battle at all. I'm lucky to even be learning here.'
"Hey answer me idiot?!" Trying to walk pass Bakugo he kept standing in your way. "Leave me alone, I already know I'm weak and shouldn't even have made it to the third round." Bakugo gritted his teeth, 'Who put these ideas in her head...?!' "Who said that?!" You continued trying to walk pass him before he gently grabbed your shoulder and bent down trying to remove your arms from your face. With a smooth and softer tone Bakugo questioned again, "Who told you those things...?"
Your cries got quieter by the softening of his voice, which you didn't think was possible. "I-I'm s-sorry, please l-let me-" Bakugo wrapped his arms around you still annoyed you weren't answering him. "Don't apologize idiot, just calm down and answer the question after." You sniffled as you wrapped your arms around him. Was it a week since you were last hugged, and felt this comforted? Calming down after a while you looked up. "I'm sorry for acting so weak."
Bakugo looked down, "You should be!" You turned to your side sadly. "I didn't mean it that way. What I mean is you shouldn't be showing your weak side like this. You're so much stronger." He said after realizing how harsh his sentence was. "Look, I know we have our weak moments, but we shouldn't be showing our opponents that side of us. I'm not really good at comforting people I'm sorry if this didn't really help." Bakugo said looking to his side in embarrassment. He turned back to look at you before to back to his side turning a little red.
You smiled up at him, "Thank you, Katsuki. I really appreciate it. Being very soft for me and all..." "Now don't overdue it by saying that idiot!" He unwrapped his arms. "Now are you going to tell me who said that or-" "It was... no one just my own thoughts." He frowned and started walking down the hall before he stopped. "Are you coming or what?" You nodded running beside him.
In the cafeteria there were students still eating. "Are you here to eat?" Bakugo nodded, "I was busy... listening to some people so I couldn't eat." You stood in line with him. "Do you think your mom will let me go home after school today?" "Probably not, I bet she was screaming her head off seeing the two of us during the Calvary battle." You giggled, "She's an adorable woman." "Adorable?! She beats me everyday. You're lucky you're a girl, she fangirls over the stuff she gets to do with you since she doesn't have a daughter." You grinned, "She sure does spoil me." "I think she loves you more than me, I mean she takes you shopping a lot and hugs you everyday."
You poked Bakugo's cheek, "Don't tell me, you're jealous your mom gives me more attention?" He growled, "I never said that!!" He got his food, you both walked over to a table and started eating. "I wonder what the third round is going to be..." "I don't care I just know that I'm going to get first." You smiled, "Yeah I believe you'll get first also!" He ate his food, "I better hurry many others are starting to finish their food which means the festival is staying soon again." You sighed, "I wanna relax a little longer but I guess we have to get ready for the third round." Bakugo finished and got up to out his dirty dishes away.
"Let's go we don't wanna be late."
