As you were happily talking , a deep voice was heard around the room. "If you're here to socialize then get out. This is..." It was a man in a yellow thing that looked like a caterpillar. He started to drink something , "...the hero course." He stood up taking the yellow thing off. "It took eight seconds for you to quiet down. Time is a precious resource. You lot aren't very rational , are you?"
Everyone was silent , "I'm your homeroom teacher , Shoto Aizawa. Pleased to meet you. Quickly now. Change into your gym clothes and head out to the grounds."

You stood beside Kirishima rubbing your arm nervously. Everyone was outside in their uniforms. "A test of our quirks?..." The girl you saw at the entrance exams questioned loudly. "What about the entrance ceremony?! Or guidance sessions?" He kept on walking, "No time to waste on that stuff if you want to become heroes. U.A is known for its 'freestyle' educational system. That applies to us teachers as well."
Mr.Aizawa stopped walking now. "Softball throwing. The standing long jump. The 50-meter dash. Endurance running. Grip strength. Side-to-side stepping. Upper-body training. Seated toe touch. You did all these in middle school, yes? Your standard no-quirks-allowed gym tests. This country still insists on prohibiting quirks when calculating the averages of those records. It's not rational. The department of education is just procrastinating. Bakugo. How far did you throw in middle school?"
You looked over where a blonde stood. "Sixty-seven meters." "Great. Now try it with your quirk. Do whatever you need to. Just don't leave the circle." He walked over to the circle stretching. "Give it all you got." He started to swing his arm back. "Die!!" The explosion that came from him made you lose balance. Kirishima chuckled grabbing the hem of your collar so you couldn't fly back.
Aizawa showed us a phone like object. "It's important for us to know our own limits. Thanks the first rational step to figuring out what kind of heroes you'll be." It shows '705.2m', you stared in awe. Everyone complimented him, "Did you see that Kirishima , that was cool right?" He nodded. "Awesome , cool? You say. You're hoping to become heroes after three years here and you think it'll be all fun and games? Right. The one with the lowest score across all eight events will be judged hopeless. And will be expelled." Your heart dropped.
"Your fates are in our hands. Welcome this is the trials of the first day. Heroes are the ones who correct all that unfairness. If you were hoping to spend your evenings hanging out at McDonald's. I'm sorry to tell you that for the next three years U.A will run you through the wringer. That's plus ultra. Use your strengths to overcome it all. So bring it. The demonstration is over. Now it's for real."
First was the 50-meter dash, one of them was really fast. It was a tall blue haired guy that got done in 3.04 seconds. It was your turn , you went against Kirishima. He didn't use his quirk , which you always wondered what it was. You finished with 6.43 seconds , and Kirishima with 6.32 seconds. There was this one guy that used a laser to race , but he ended up falling. You watched the last two race , the explosive guy was fast , and the plain greenette wasn't as fast.
The second test was the grip test. You used your quirk for this one. Light emitted from your hand as threads wrapped the yellow thing. Your grip went from 30kg to 80kg , due to the threads tightening. You tried to loosen it so your threads didn't cut through the object. "540 kg?! Are you a gorilla or octopus?!" Looking over the guy with six arms held the thing.
The third test was long jump, you use: the threads to throw you in the air. Making you go not too far , but farther than if you were to do it without the quirk. The fourth was side stepped , this one wasn't your best , but you still did well. The last one finally was throwing. Kirishima went before you so now it was your turn.
You walked up nervously , because your quirk wouldn't help you on this. So you thought of a small plan that will help a bit. You wrapped the threads around the ball , bringing your arm back and flinging it in the air. It went at a high distance from the threads force. You were quite surprised with the distance. "607.7 meters." You walked back celebrating a little.
The green haired boy was the last one finally. He walked up , "Midoriya isn't doing very well." "Well duh. He's a quirkless runt." You listened only to both the blue haired guy and the blonde. "Quirkless?! So you haven't heard about his feats during the entrance exam?!" Paying back attention , the green haired boys arm showed somewhat energy going through his veins.
As he brought his arms back he threw the ball. "46 meters." You we're quite surprised , you thought his quirk was gonna help him. "I 'erased' your quirk." Looking over you started to shake Kirishima, your all time favorite pro hero, Eraser Head. He wasn't very well known , but you liked that he wasn't into the popular types of heroes.
"The ridiculous entrance exam completely irrational when you consider someone like you got in. I saw it how can you control your quirk. You'd just incapacitated again. Were you hoping someone would step in to help afterwards?" "N-no it's not like that." The green haired boy was then pulled closer to Aizawa. "Whatever you were planning it would have inconvenienced those around you."
Aizawa sighed , "You've got your quirk back give it another go. Let's get this over with." You watched the green haired kid. As he was about to throw Aizawa watched closely. His arm went back ready to throw.
"You have no chance."
