(Going to skip the James scene because it plays out pretty much the same basically all you need to know is that Clementine accepts that maybe there might be some humanity left in the walkers)
Clementine and AJ were now back they had managed to convnnce James to use walkers as cover to get on the boat and they had to be ready for tomorrow night as James was leading the herd to the boat right now
AJ as he closed the door said "I don't think I've ever met anyone like James before, he's tough not like you because he doesn't kill monsters but he's not afraid of them either. He's cool." AJ concluded with a smile
Ruby suddenly came up to Clem and AJ she appeared to be holding several pillows "hey Clem Willy told me the plan. How'd things go with that guy?" She asked
"James he agreed to help us" Clementine told Ruby
"You know if someone told me we were gonna sneak onto a boat using a herd of walkers I'd have called them crazy" Ruby told Clem and AJ
AJ looked at the pillows with a curious glance "what're you doing with those" AJ asked Ruby
Ruby looked down as if suddenly remembering she was holding the pillows "oh well I wanted to throw one last hootenanny before the big fight"
"Swear...?" He asked unsurely as he had no idea what hootenanny meant
"Huh?" Ruby asked not knowing why AJ had just said swear
"It sounds like a swear" AJ told Clem
"It definitely sounds like a swear word" Clementine said with a smile
"I'm gonna start saying it too" AJ told Clem
Ruby spoke again "I know it sounds strange throwing a party but people need something to lift there spirits right about now"
Clementine agreed with Ruby's idea "this could be our last chance" Clementine said
"I wanted to make some tea for everyone could I borrow your little heater thing" Ruby asked Clementine nodded in response
AJ looked up at Ruby with a big grin on his face clearly excited for the party "what can I do" he asked eagerly
"We need something to lighten up the music room. Could you make us something colourful to hang up" Ruby requested
"Okay I'll be an artist" AJ said pointing to himself with a smile before he ran into the room he and Clem shared and shutting the door quickly
Ruby and Clementine exchanged smiles at AJ's eagerness then Clementine followed AJ into their room.
Opening and closing the door again so she could walk in Clementine saw AJ hunched over the desk getting ready to draw a picture using some of Sophie's art supplies
"I'm gonna make a deck... the decker" AJ trailed off forgetting the word that he was supposed to use.
"Decoration" Clementine told AJ as she walked behind him.
AJ now talked in a fake sophisticated tone as he announced "decoration for the party" this brought an amused smile to Clementine's face she ten informed AJ "I'll get the heater"
Clem picked up the coffee heater and brought it back just as AJ finished his drawing of Aasim and Omar breaking free form the boat
"Hey you're getting better at this soon you'll be as good as an artist as Tenn" Clementine remarked
"I dunno he's really good" AJ said thoughtfully with a soft smile however the smile was replaced by a frown quickly
Clementine saw his expression and felt her concern building up "something wrong" she asked when he didn't respond Clem prodded again "AJ" Clem asked
