We find Ash, who seems to have just stunned the Weedle.
"I have found you at last! Ha yah!" The samurai guy pulls out his sword and points it at Ash
"Ash!" Misty warns
"Alright buddy, what's your deal?" I ask, slowly approaching him
"The sword doesn't scare me. No way will you steal my pokemon!" Ash says
"What? I'm no pokemon thief!" The guy says
"...what..." me and Misty say in unison
"Who are you then?" She asks
"I am Samurai! Shrewd, fearless, and completely invincible in combat. I have been searching the forest for you." This 'Samurai' guy says
"Is he bragging or trying to take him to the Emperor to become a Samurai himself?" I mutter, earning a giggle from Misty
"Why? What do you want from me?" Ash asks
"A pokemon battle! Let us see who triumphs!" Samurai says
Ash then realizes something...
"Oh wait, Weedle! Come on, pokeball, here goes- and its gone..." He says as he returns Pidgeotto
He turns back to Samurai and gives him an annoyed look.
"You mixed me up! If you hadn't done that, the Weedle wouldn't have gotten away!" He says
"Don't blame your failure on me, your pokemon handling is dim witted and clumsy." Samurai states
"You pointed a katana at him. Sorta is your fault dude." I state
"Again, his pokemon handling is dim witted and clumsy." He doubles down
"Ehem... YOU POINTED A KATANA AT HIM WITH NO CONTEXT AFTER THE WEEDLE GOT AWAY." I repeat a little louder
"Okay, calm down Sallec..." Misty tries to calm me down
"Yes, please, calm down your hot headed significant other." Samurai states
"I'm gonna take that katana and-" Misty interrupts me
"And you are going to be quiet before I have Starmie shoot water in your face." Misty, giving me a warning look, moves me back a few steps away from Samurai
"...Anyway, I bet I could beat you in a pokemon match blindfolded!" Ash challenges Samurai
"There is only one way to find out." Samurai accepts
"Pidgeotto, do your stuff! Oh wait..." Ash throws in Pidgeotto, who is just asleep on the ground
"Ash, don't you know you have to let your pokemon rest once in a while?" Misty asks
"Well I..." he starts
"Only a novice goes into battle with a tired out pokemon! That will cost you dearly, Pinsir, assume Attack Position!" Samurai throws out a Pinsir
"Woah! A Pinsir!" Ash pulls out his pokedex and scans Pinsir
"Bug type, Pidgeotto has the advantage, but is still pretty tired." I state
"Wait... that's a BUG!?" Misty hides behind me again
"Just a big beetle really." I state
"Oh- LIKE THAT'S GOING TO MAKE ANYTHING BETTER!" She shouts
"Right, sorry." I chuckle awkwardly
Ash, pretty confident, commands Pidgeotto to use Sand Attack. Pinsir doesn't seem fazed though, and tackles Pidgeotto, knocking it out.
