Pokemon Broken Memories

Following A New Road

Okay... so according to Seymour... the Moon Stone should increase a pokemon's power... now the real question is does it work on Nidorino...?

"Sallec? What're you doing?"

I turn around to see Misty standing beside me.

"Nothing, just taking a look at my Moon Stone fragment." I stand up and toss the stone in the air then catching it

"Hey no! What did we say about touching it? You could end up fainting again!"

She proceeds to snatch it out of my hands.

"I haven't collapsed yet and I've been touching it all day." I cross my arms

"Doesn't matter, we're not taking the risk. Come on, we should head back." She starts walking back through the woods

I hesitantly follow, since I basically can't do much now that the Moon Stone is with her. We head back to our mini camp site, Brock and Ash sitting on one of Brock's magical backpack tables, sipping tea.

"Misty, you found Sallec! What was he doing?" Brock spots us

"He was messing with his Moon Stone. Don't worry though, I took it from him." Misty says proudly

"Whatever. Brock, tea me"

Brock proceeds to hand me a cup of tea. I take a sip and-

"ACK-"

"What is wrong with you? This is piping hot!" I hold my throat, coughing in between words

"Learn to not mess with the Moon Stone again." Ash laughs at my expense

Everyone is asleep. I'm the only one up, glaring at the starry night sky. The cold breeze blows my hair to the side, the chirps of either Spearow or Pidgey in the background.

It's pretty relaxing, I wonder why I can't sleep...

"Sallec, go to sleep already. It's really late..."

I turn my head to see Ash staring at me, half groggy.

"My bad, I'll try to sleep now. Night."

"Night Sallec..." He yawns

I turn over to face Misty.

Huhn... she looks so peaceful... I want to look peaceful... should probably try sleeping now...

I yawn and close my eyes, attempting to fall asleep.

All of a sudden my eyes open to a ceiling. I sit up and notice I'm in a bed. Confused, I get out of the bed and touch the floor. I look around to see a room I don't recognize.

"This... is weird..." I mutter

I walk towards a dresser and open it, seeing clothes that look about my size. I then realize I'm not wearing my clothes, but I'm wearing a set of red pajamas.

I open the room door and walk out. I walk downstairs and immediately see a lady sitting at a dining table.

"Um- ma'am...?" I close my eyes hoping she doesn't snap at me for being in her house

"Ma'am? That's a first." She turns around and I quickly realize...

This... is the same woman from when I fainted at Mt. Moon! So... this is my mom!?

"M-Mom?" I hesitantly ask

"Yes?"

"...what's going on...?" I mutter

All of a sudden, something pushes my head forward quickly, before I have time to react.

"AAH!" I try to pry whatever it is on the back of my head off, but its no use
