Wednesday evening, the 6th of January

We were going to have so much fun. I looked at Lilah, "Tell them however much or little you want."

She responded with, "I'll tell them a bit but not the part about the boyfriend question. I don't think my mom would enjoy me asking that question."

Lilah then proceeds to explain to her brother, " I asked her how old she was, how long she was staying and how did she get hurt. I've been learning sign language for the past 3 years as extra credit. I go to different places as my after school activity to practice with little kids that are deaf and mute. The only reason you didn't know that is 'cause you're to busy tanning on the beach with your mates and when you've come home you've never asked."

She says, the last with a triumphant smile. Jack smiles and the confusion leaves his face.

Smirking he says, "I'll have you know my job is more then just tanning. I not only tan, I watch the ladies frolic in the water then save their asses when they decide to try and drown themselves. The occasional guy too."

(Do not take that seriously, it's just supposed to be a joke between siblings! Lifeguards are amazing and do all they can to do their job and protect us!)

"Jack! Watch your language!" His mom buts in, scolding him.

Both the girls and Jack roll their eyes at the same time and everyone bursts into laughter again.

I smile along with them but I was getting really tired from all the standing. "Can we go inside? I need to sit down."

Thankfully, I'm able to do one armed signing now that there was someone who understood.

Lilah sees what I said and says apologetically, "Sorry I guess we forgot about you for a moment. Here, I'll bring you to where you'll be staying!"

At that she grabs my good arm and drags me inside, leaving the others to follow.

As she leads me into the living room, she rambles on. "You'll be staying in the guest room. It's right across from our room and there's a bathroom connected to it. So basically you get your own bathroom, but sometimes me or Jazzy use it when the other bathrooms are occupied. My brother will grab your bags out of the car and put them in here."

She opens the door revealing a basic room, in the theme of the beach. (Picture below is her room/guest room.)
