Everyone was silent and Remy was at the verge of tears. Nobody said anything for a solid two minutes. "Well.. I-I think I should go.." Remy said, almost leaving the room. "S-Stop! Please don't go away, please..? No one's ever stuck with me for so long before, & if you leave... if you leave.. I just- I get more confident around you, I do! Look- because when I look at you I can feel it, and I-I-I look at you and I... and I'm home!" Virgil tried to hold back tears but he couldn't. "Please, I don't want that to go away, I don't want to be scared." Virgil said while crying. "I'm sorry Virgil, but I'm already gone." Remy turned away & left. Virgil fell to his knees crying.

-With Emile and Queen Livinia-

"Come back to the kingdom with me. You'll be a higher status than a mere librarian." Queen Livinia offered after Romulus & King Runard left. "Why can't Patton be ruler..?" Emile asked, looking towards his mother with a confused expression. "Patton refuses to be ruler, I don't understand why though." Queen Livinia explained. "Isn't he older? I thought the oldest was SUPPOSED to be heir to the throne?" Emile asked, still very confused. "Well TECHNICALLY that's true but this will be an exception and i think we can both agree that you're...how do i put this lightly.....you're better." Lavinia replied. "He's too immature to be ruler anyway You, my darling, are a star." Queen Lavina continued, motioning her hand towards the sky. "I haven't seen Patton in a while either....." Emile didn't know whether he should leave his friends behind & go home to his family, or refuse his mother's offer. "Well? What do you say? You can rule over an entire kingdom or you could stay here working as a measly librarian.."  queen Lavinia said, exaggerating a bit. Emile didn't want to hurt his mother's feelings & he wanted to see Patton again. "I'll go.." Emile finally agreed. "Wonderful! Let's go!" Queen Lavina said, cheerfully. "What about my friends? Can't I say bye..?" Emile asked, saddened by the fact they're leaving so soon. "You're a king now, well once you get back to the kingdom you will be! Anyway, you don't need those peasants. Besides once you get there you'll forget all about them!" Queen Lavina responded. "My friends aren't peasants! They're people just like you and me!" Emile stood his ground, then continued. "If you can't see that, then I.... I won't rule over your kingdom." Emile let his mother push him around but he won't let the same happen to his friends. "Fine. Let's make a deal." Queen Lavina said, turning around and walking towards Emile. "I'll ask you twice every month if you want to rule the kingdom, and until you say yes, I won't stop." Queen Lavina held out her hand. Emile thought for a moment, then took it. Sealing the deal. "Agree to disagree, mother." Emile said, as he let go of her hand and walked out, seemingly confident. "Can you stop playing that weird futuristic music?" Emile said, wait... EMILE BROKE THE 4TH WALL!? Dammit.. anyway stop playing Confident by Demi Lavato? Fiiine. "Thank you!" Emile said, happily. Hang on, let me fix the 4th wall.
—After I fix the 4th wall—
Okay! Done! I'm finally done.. Okay! Back to the fanfic! Emile went upstairs to talk to someone (probably Remy) about what just happened. He stops when he hears something from inside Virgil's room. "I'm sorry Virgil, but I'm already gone."  Then he saw Remy walk out. He was close to tears, & for some reason Emile wanted to know why. "What's wrong..?" Emile asked. Remy wiped the tears from his eyes but couldn't seem to see clearly still. "N-nothing." Remy responded. "Remy I know something is wrong." Emile persisted. "I don't wanna talk about it. I just need to leave." Remy said, speeding up his pace as he walked. Emile had to jog to keep up. "Ok, let me come with you then! If you leave you'll be alone, I'll keep you company!" Emile said, having to slightly run to keep up now. Remy stopped suddenly. Emile ran past, then backed up. "Is something wrong?" Emile asked, confusion & concern clear in his voice. "Yes. maybe? I don't know.." Remy said, confused with himself more than since he thought he was straight. "Well I'm here if you need help with anything." Emile reassured, with a warm smile across his face. "Thanks.... Emy." Remy said, continuing to walk down the stairs, and out the huge doors of the not-so- ordinary castle, with Emile by his side.
