"You.." Janus turned, face to face with his father. "You disowned me because of a FUCKING CURSE!" Janus yelled, the guards tensed, & Romulus backed away a bit. "Son-" janus' father tried to speak but got cut off "don't call me ssson." Janus hissed. Romulus put a hand on Janus' shoulder, feeling pity for him. "Calm down.. please?" Janus flinched at the touch and calmed down at the same time, he doesn't know why. "What is he doing here?" Virgil asks looking at Jared with eyes that could burn through titanium. "I'm here to speak with my son-" he said before getting cut off by virgil "the last time i checked it was your fault he got cursed then you disowned him for it and now all because of you we live in an abandoned house that literally is falling apart,neither of us can get a job so we have no money," "AND BECAUSE we have no money, we can't buy food therefore we quite literally eat NOTHING for long periods of time!!" Janus added remembering he hasn't eaten for 4 days in a row now. "Son-" Jared tried to speak again before quickly getting cut off by Janus. "CALL ME SSSON ONE MORE TIME!!!" Janus snapped, he hid his threat knowing if he said it how he wanted he would end up in the deepest, darkest parts of the dungun, or end up being executed, either one works for a man starving to death. "You could live in the castle for now." Romulus offered, hoping to ease the tension a bit. Janus turned around to look at Romulus, then looked at Virgil. "Only if Virgil could come too." Janus replied looking back at Virgil, smiling a bit. "Wait what?" Virgil said in confusion. "That offer was for the both of you." Romulus reassured,looking at both of them. "I'd rather not-" virgil tried to say before getting cut off. "Nuh-uh. No. I am NOT allowing my best friend to deny an offer to live in THE KING'S CASTLE, and continue starving, living in an abandoned house that is LITERALLY falling apart," Janus whispers. "Stealing food," Janus continues to talk normally again. "& let me remind you, YOU DON'T HAVE A JOB!" Janus stated the reasons why he doesn't have a choice in this matter. "Fine." Virgil sighed. Janus turned back to Romulus. "We will accept this offer." Janus said, burying his excitement & trying to sound as sophisticated as possib;e. He was obviously failing, but he tried at least. Virgil on the other hand was not very excited; he was more worried about being a burden to the king. Romulus started walking towards the castle. "Well? Are you coming?"
