Chapter 5

Adrien came to class today feeling sad because plagg never came back, it's been days now And adrien still couldn't understand why he left. Sure he knew ladybug was hurt and he was worried too but he couldn't let his friend get hurt in front of him. And ladybug was strong she could fight by herself for a while but Lila was weak she needed protection.

As all the students Started to file in, he also saw marinette. She now reminds him of his father. Cold and unfeeling.

When marinette was walking by his set he saw a familiar ring on her finger. That's his ring... No it can't be. Plagg would probably go to ladybug not marinette. Maybe that's a ring happens to be similar to his... He didn't give much thought to it anymore as the class already started.

*Marinette*

After class she didn't go home but went to the Agreste mansion. She had already made the appointment prior to this time. As she made her way to the mansion she saw Adrien,Alya, Nino and Lila there. Apparently going to Adrien's home. Her business was not with them so as she got closer to the house she texted Natalie that she was here.

As she reached the gate she herd Lila gasp and look at her with fear on her face. It was so fake it's disgusting. But marinette turned around to face the gate and wait for Natalie to come silently. Obviously they didn't seem to get the memo cause right then they Started to accuse her of stalking Adrien and bullying Lila. And the stalking Adrien part came from Alya as she told Adrien of how she likes him and had his posters of him all over her room. As a former best friend she knew everything and anything. Marinette was greatfull to her past self for not telling Alya about her secret identity. Even if she locked way all her emotions it still hurt a little when she told her secrets out loud. But the look of disgust that flashed through adrien's eyes didn't hurt as much as she thought it would. Just as she thought it was over it started again.

Can they shut up for a minute?

The answer was no.

" Look she's even wearing the same ring as adrien does." Alya said as she pointed towards marinette's ring.

Lila gasped as she said a little too loudly then needed," oh my god adrien, where is your ring? Did you loose it?"

Then Alya rounded on marinette as she accused ,"you stole Adrien's ring didn't you?! You thief! Give it back!" Alya tried to lunge at marinette but marinette just dodged her. As she finally said something

"This ring belongs to me and Adrien Agreste is not deserving of wearing this ring. Not now not ever." Marinette's voice was cold and serious.

For some unknown reason Adrien had a very bad feeling about it. He hurriedly stopped Alya and said," it's not my ring. Stop this now"

Alya finally stopped and looked at marinette ,"what are you still doing here? Can't you see we are busy. Adrien doesn't like you so stop pestering him already"

Lila also seems to want to say something but marinette cut her to in," I have no business with Adrien Agreste. It is Gabriel Agreste who I have an appointment with. And for your information I do not like a spineless blind sorry excuse of a human being. My standards are not that low."

Before they had a chance to speak Natalie arrived and led marinette in to the mansion.
