This story follows Chloe Smith (Smithy) in the 2nd person, using you and you're. Smithy is 16 like her fellow Pogues and this is the first summer she has spent with them after she moved from Britain at the age of 14. She moved with her mum, dad and one of her older brothers who is 21 and has a child. Her parents got divorced and she moved to figure 8 whilst smithy stayed with her dad on the cut.
